Tomball ISD MOVES presents the Tomball ISD Superintendent's Fun Run. The TISD Superintendent's Fun Run is a 5k (3.1 miles) timed race that will take place on February 28, 2026 at the Tomball Event Center. Awards will be given to the top 3 runners in each classification. The event is open to all students and staff as well as the Tomball community. In addition to the Fun Run, a 1-mile walking course will be set up around the Tomball ISD Stadium.
Funds generated from the Superintendentโs Fun Run are used to cover the costs associated with hosting the Fun Run. Any remaining funds are used to:
โข provide incentives to increase employee health and wellness at each campus and department throughout the district
โข support the Tomball Education Foundation

1876 Athletic Foundation 5K Family Run/Walk is a unique event for the whole family. Runners, walkers, stroller-pushers, and little ones are invited! 100% of the proceeds benefit collegiate student-athletes.The event will include family fun games and prizes as well as a vendor marketplace.
This fun run/walk event is put on with the generous efforts of volunteers and community partners.
5K Registration Fee includes: T-shirt, medal, and all race amenities.
Registrations on or before December 31, 2025 are guaranteed a T-shirt of your size.
Registrations after December 31st and up to race day cannot be guaranteed a T-shirt of your size.

Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start. Any additional pickups announced by email 1 week prior to the race.
Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).
Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads. You may encounter park users such as dog walkers or families with strollers. Please be courteous and aware.

The 29th Annual Sprint for Life 5K and Sprint for Sprouts Kids' Run will be held near the campus of MD Anderson Cancer Center on May 9, 2026. Make a difference in the fight against ovarian cancer!
Founded in 1998, Sprint for Life has two missions: to raise awareness and research funds for ovarian cancer. Hosted by The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Sprint for Life has raised more than $5.8 million for the Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program, one of the world's leading efforts dedicated to ovarian cancer research. Funding has allowed researchers to develop new clinical trials, understand the biology of ovarian cancer and develop new therapies for the disease.

Join us for the 16th Annual Rudolph 5k Fun Run, Dasher 10k and Cupid 1k starting at our new location, Bendwood Park, and running through the area neighborhoods while enjoying all the Christmas Decorations. We welcome all ages and runner speeds, walkers, joggers, strollers and all those wanting to have. This year we have moved our fun run to Bendwood Park located just around the corner at 12700 Kimberly Park which offers more for the kids to do and easier parking. We will have the same route outside of a 1/2 mile, but all distances have been confirmed.
Smile for the camera as we judge to see who has the best Christmas costume and win a great gift card. Enjoy pictures with Santa Claus and special treats after the fun run including mimosas and much more. All registered athletes will receive a medal and more.
1k Cupid Run starts at 7:40am followed by the 10k Dasher Run at 8am and Rudolph 5k Run at 8:05am.
