    Join us at Barrow Brewing Co for this fun 5K that includes live music, craft brew specials, and prizes hidden along the route. The race will be officially timed by Pro-Fit Race Timing. Participants receive a t-shirt, craft beverage (NA options are available for those under 21), and the chance to find "leprechaun treasure" along the way.

    Salado, Texas is a beautiful Village located in Central Texas. The route, which starts and ends at the brewery, will take participants through historic downtown Salado. This 5K is walker, stroller, and dog friendly.

    Packet pick up will be at the brewery on Friday night 5-7 p.m. and Saturday starting at 8 a.m. Same day registration, if not sold out, will also begin at 8 a.m. Please register by 3/1/2026 to be guaranteed a t-shirt! The Barrow 5K medals for 2026 are so cool and interlock with the other 5K medals from the series. You're going to want to collect all three.

    Race t-shirts are available to runners/walkers registered by March 11, 2026. Very limited quantities and sizes are available after this date.

    Roses for Hoses 5K will also hold a Bib Raffle for all entries - you must be present to win. Certain restrictions will apply.

    Plus, each registered runner or walker will receive a Swag Bag and Rose for participating.

    Regular Registration Fees (thru March 17): 5K - $35.00

    Regular Registration Fees (after March 17): 5K- $40.00

    Registrants age 17 & under can receive a reduced price...free event t-shirt not available at the discounted rate - t-shirts are available for purchase until March 17th ... this alternate registration will appear as you register.

    Award Categories:

    Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and the top three male/female finishers in each age group. No duplicate awards.

    Age groups: 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

    Costume Contest Awards are given to the top four costumed participants.

    Race day registration and packet pick-up will run from 7:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m. on race day at the race site. Registration is on personal devices (phone, iPad); credit cards only.

    PLEASE NOTE: Roadblocks will be set in place at 8:15am for the protection of the runners and walkers and will stay in place until all runners and walkers have returned.

    Please plan to ARRIVE EARLY; and please plan to STAY until Roadblocks are removed.

    Race Day Schedule:

    This is a chip-Timed event!

    Opening Ceremony will begin at 8:15am.

    Run/Walk Start Time: 8:30 a.m.

    Weather Policy:

    We're planning to run rain or shine, but please make a personal decision on whether you feel safe to participate. Please follow along on social media @profitracetiming.com for updates. There are no refunds for the event. The race will NOT be moved to an alternative date!

    Rain – the event will NOT be cancelled due to rain alone. Race officials reserve the right to delay or shorten the race based on heavy rain.

    Severe Weather – If there is severe weather, the race may be delayed as race officials deem necessary. If there is a more than reasonable delay, or if conditions persist, race officials reserve the right to shorten or cancel the race. Participants should seek safe shelter should severe weather develop during the race.

    Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):
