Shamrock N Run Is design to help raise monetary donations that will go Prevent Child Abuse America, Locally in Tennessee and Nation wide. It will be held on Tennessee Tech's campuse during the annual Shamrock week. It will begin at 9:00am on the Quad and be a two loop race track.

At Hope Adoption Agency, we continue in our mission and vision of serving the Upper Cumberland with affordable and accessible adoption services! Hope Adoption Agency remains as the only agency of its kind here in our region, and in 2026, we are setting our sights on raising the funds to grow and expand the opportunities for housing that we can offer our expectant mothers and keeping adoption affordable to our adoptive families.
"The 3rd annual Miles for Mom event exists to celebrate and support birth mothers, adoptive families, and the children we
serve; born and unborn. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to cover event costs and directly advance our pro-life mission. In a jumpstart effort to kick off Mother's Day Weekend, we bring this event to showcase, honor, and celebrate every mother!"

Runners can pick up their race packets at the Hope Adoption Agency office located at 235 W. Main Street, Cookeville, TN on Thursday or Friday, May 7-8 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Participants are also welcome to pick up race packets the morning of the race at 7:00 am. Miles for Mom will begin promptly at 8 AM, and will take you on a beautiful scenic route through Algood, TN.

Run or Walk this family friendly 5K race raising funds to help cancer patients in the Upper Cumberland. The Summer Splash 5k offers racers opportunities to cool off along the course at optional “drenching stations” and “misting stations.” All participants will be timed and have the option to order a Summer Splash T-Shirt.
Proceeds from the Summer Splash 5K will go toward the Cancer Care Fund at Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation and participants are encouraged to run in honor or memory of a loved one impacted by cancer. The race was established in memory of Sarah Alice Bagci, who battled Burkitt's Lymphoma.
The race will begin promptly at 6 pm, beginning near Dogwood Park Amphitheater with the start line on N Walnut Ave. Note, there is construction in the lot between the park and start line. We will be gathering in the parking lot near Cigi's and the Exceptional Bean, and then walking to the start line together just before the race begins.

The Annual Ryan Burnett Memorial 5K will be held on FALL 2026 (TBD) at 7:00 am, at the Cookeville Cross Country Facility at 497 Whiteaker Springs Road, Cookeville, Tennessee. Pick up for race T-shirts and packets is available TBD from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM and TBD from 6:15 AM until 7 AM at the Cookeville Cross Country Pavilion.

Challenge yourself and others with a 3.1 mile race to the finish over paved roads, around the track, and then onto the Cookeville Cavaliers Cross Country team beautiful grass course. Door Prizes! The Race for the Golden Helix 5K (GH5K) is an annual 5 km (3.1 mile) open-road race around the beautiful campus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. The GH5K is professionally timed. All parking on the Tennessee Tech University campus is free and available to the public on the weekends. You will not be ticketed unless you park in a spot that is specifically reserved. The best parking for the race is behind the TN Tech STEM Center, along Stadium Drive, near the Laboratory Science Commons (LSC) and Stonecipher Auditorium.
The race is organized by the Student Affiliates of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) with the assistance of the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) and the Chem-Med Club. The race is co-sponsored by the Tennessee Technological University Student Government Association SOLO Fund so that all students may race at no cost. Proceeds from the GH5K benefit the ASBMB and SMACS clubs, and the Upper Cumberland Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic at Cookeville High School.
This year's race may be SOLO-funded for current TN Tech students to race for FREE using code (AWESOME). Students MUST present valid student ID at packet pick-up to be able to race.
