The event entry fee now includes Badlands National Park entrance pass.

$15 per bicycle.

Thirty something riders are required to pay an additional vehicle entry fee.

Gravel Grinder Long Course:

• Event Start | 8 AM MDT | Start and end is 511 Glen Street, Wall, SD.

• Course Estimated Ride Time 4 - 7 hours

If you enjoy the quiet rush of open roads and endless skies, the long course is for you. Starting and ending in Wall, it saves the best views for last. Self-serve aid stations offer water and snacks, with maps and directions guiding riders across gravel, mixed surfaces, and two-track roads through ranch land and open fields. The heart of the route winds past stunning formations in and around Badlands National Park. Wet weather may affect conditions, and alternate routes may be provided. This course operates under permit with the USFS and Badlands National Park.

Note: This is gravel/single track/pavement. Appropriate tires are critical to being able to enjoy and complete your ride.

Gravel Grinder Short Course:

• Course Estimated Ride Time is 2-4 hours

This 35-mile route, half pavement and half gravel/dirt, is a perfect introduction to riding off the paved path. The first half is paved, while the second follows dirt two-track below the Badlands Wall, offering beauty and solitude. The course is non-technical with no singletrack. Wet weather may affect conditions, and alternate routes may be provided. This course operates under permit with the USFS and Badlands National Park.

Pavement Full Forty:

• Event Start | 10 AM MDT | Start is 511 Glen Street, Wall, SD and end at Badlands Trading Post & Gas Station, Exit 131 of I90 (shuttle recommended for this course)

• Course Estimated Ride Time 2.5 -6 hours

The rugged heart of the Badlands is Hwy 240. Cycling the entirety of Hwy 240 is definitely a challenging ride due to descending and climbing the Badlands Wall several times.Aid stations and restrooms on the course will provide you comfort and ease for your journey. Cell phone coverage is fair to good throughout course.

Pavement Thirty Something:

• Event Start | 10 AM MDT | Start in 511 Glen Street, Wall, SD and end at the Ben Reifel Visitor Center in Badlands National Park. (Shuttle recommended for this course)

• Course Estimated Ride Time 2-6 hours

If this is a first organized ride for you, this course is a perfect option for conquering your “fear of distance”. Aid Stations and restrooms available on this course.
