Join us on the Sunday morning following the Thunderhawk Wide Open for the Inaugural Blacktail Trail Ride!

Blacktail Trail is a unique 7 mile loop through the beautiful Grand River National Grasslands. Riders will start from the Blacktail Trailhead (located just south of Shadehill, SD). There will be 12 minute staggered starts beginning at 8:00am, 9:00am & 10:00am, just register for the time that works best for you. A mountain bike is suggested as there are some switchbacks and steep sections with potential washouts and loose dirt.

Awards will be given for the fastest times in each category (Youth/Adult/Senior). This event is for all people on bicycles: young and old, beginners to advanced, so bring your bike and your supportive vibes for a good time down at Blacktail Trail.
