    To receive a shirt on race day you must register by March 1st. All participants will receive a shirt but those who register on march 2nd or later can pick up their shirt the following week anytime between 9:00am-11:30am at TOTAL Ministries Monday-Thursday beginning Monday March 23rd.

    The 13th Annual Pine Street School 5k is a fundraiser for Pine Street Elementary School. Funds raised help to supplement PTO's efforts to engage and enrich the student's experience at Pine. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, PTO is able to provide students with enrichment opportunities such as specialized grade-level studies, Artist in Residence Week, and Accelerated Reader programming, among many other worthwhile endeavors.

    The 5K course runs through Spartanburg's historic Converse Heights neighborhood and is USATF certified (SC18009DW).

    Registration includes a short-sleeve t-shirt if registered by March 3rd, 2026. Select sizes may be available on race day for later registrations, but late registrants are not guaranteed a tee shirt.

    Packet Pick-up-Morning of the race only! Saturday, March 21st at Pine Street Entrance from 7:30am to 8:45am

    Pine Street School at 500 S Pine St, Spartanburg, SC

    There will be a brief awards ceremony at the completion of the race for overall and age group winners.

    All Pine Street Students will run the fun run during their regular PE classes. We welcome students to sign up to run or walk the 5k race and require that students be accompanied by an adult at all times on the race course.

    Join us for the Spartanburg Run for Babies 5k! In 2026, we are moving to Fifth Third Park, home of the Hub City Spartanburgers! This 5k benefits March of Dimes and the incredible work they do each and every day. Every family deserves the best possible start. But that’s just not the case.

    • Each year, one woman dies every 12 hours from pregnancy-related causes

    • 1 in 9 babies in South Carolina is born too soon

    With your help, we can change that. We are focused on one thing: helping more moms and babies be healthy and strong. Our annual March for Babies and Run for Babies Campaigns are our largest weapon against the heartaches that exist in maternal and infant health. We are looking forward to a day where every mom and baby is healthy regardless of wealth, race, geography, or race. We need your help to make that happen. We engage our local community with sponsorship opportunities, employee giving campaigns, volunteer engagement, advocacy efforts, and more.

    ADVOCATE FOR POLICIES that prioritize the health of moms and babies

    Youth Discounts: Children Under 12 Discounted Pricing (only children running the race and in need of a bib or t-shirt need to register. If you are pushing a stroller with a child, you do not need to register the child)
