Join us for our 2nd annual Disability Awareness Walk & Roll Walk/Run event in the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina! This empowering event is dedicated to promoting disability awareness while making a lasting impact in our community. By participating, walkers, donors and sponsors will not only contribute to a meaningful cause but also enjoy significant benefits.
Funds raised will support the transformative programs of SonShine Club, helping to improve the lives of those with disabilities and special needs. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will empower participants to make a difference by directing funds to the top three fundraisers’ chosen nonprofits.
Join us in stepping toward a more inclusive future, and let’s make a positive change together!
All are welcome to this community event—come walk and roll with us! The course will be an approximate 1 mile walk through Barnet Park, with events and music at each turn. In addition to the race, there will be a Vendor Fair, food trucks, and activities for all ages.
FUNDRAISING AWARDS - Not only will the top 3 fundraisers get bragging rights and prizes, but they will each get to choose a disability/special needs non profit to donate a portion of their funds raised to. The more you raise, the bigger impact you will have.
LARGEST TEAM AWARD - The team with the most registered members will win the Largest Team Award. Call everyone you know and have them register to claim this prize!
TEAM SPIRIT AWARD - The Team Spirit Award will recognize the team that creates awareness for the cause based on costumes, team name, t-shirts, props, enthusiasm, songs, chants, etc. Have fun and be creative, and maybe you'll go home with bragging rights!
CALCULATIONS & DEADLINES - Just a reminder, prizes and awards are based on team donations only, not registration fees. Awards are based on team totals as of Friday, April March 20th, at 10am.
Disability awareness is more than just a campaign—it’s a movement that shifts perspectives and fosters inclusion. What if we focused on celebrating abilities instead of limitations? By working together, we can create a world where everyone’s strengths are recognized and valued. Get registered and make a difference on March 21st!
Whether you're walking, rolling, donating, or volunteering, your support directly impacts special needs families served by the SonShine Club and other Upstate non-profits. Sign up today, we can't wait to see you there!

This isn't just any old run—this is a journey full of surprises, with twists, turns, and a couple of cheeky hills that'll either keep you on your toes or give you a fun little tumble! We’re talking enchanting dirt trails, crunchy gravel, and plenty of well-placed markers to guide you through the fun. Spoiler alert: this course is no walk in the park!

And the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line! Celebrate your accomplishment with your choice of victory libations—a refreshing beer or a classy glass of wine (1 house wine or beer included with registration). WHAT IS SIDEWALK HOPE?
Sidewalk Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to create a positive impact in the lives of children in the heart of our city and the communities in which they live through the hope of Jesus Christ. Sidewalk Hope is a mobile children’s church that takes church beyond the traditional four walls in a big yellow truck ~ right out to the sidewalk where children live and play in their own community!
WHAT DOES SIDEWALK HOPE DO?
Sidewalk Hope currently serves 300-350 children and teens (ages 2-17) each week through weekly visits right in their own communities. Our big yellow truck rolls out each week (year-round) to the sidewalks in four housing developments that are known to be underserved areas of concentrated poverty. We build relationships with the children and teens weekly through fun activities, singing, Bible lessons, food & snacks, and prayer time. In 2025, we were able to provide 750 backpacks full of school supplies and 750 Christmas Blessing bags filled with items such as blankets, toiletries, candy, Bibles or scripture activity books, and toys to children in need.
Throughout the year, Sidewalk Hope faithfully serves by providing weekly food bags filled with snacks and fresh fruit for the children. We offer leadership activities and field trips for teens, sponsor and send up to 25 teens to Camp Grace each summer, and provide extra food during the summer months when school meals are unavailable. Additionally, we distribute Bibles, toiletries, blankets, coats, hats, gloves, and food boxes to meet urgent needs. Sidewalk Hope is committed to meeting not only the spiritual needs of the children and teens we serve, but also their physical and emotional needs — all as a way to share the full love of Christ.
This year, Sidewalk Hope is celebrating 11 years of service to the youth in Spartanburg's community and we are preparing to expand into the Greenville area soon! By regularly meeting children where they live, personally investing in their lives, building long-term relationships, presenting the Gospel, and demonstrating the love of Christ in accessible ways, Sidewalk Hope is able to bring hope to an underserved population of children. Currently, there are no other organizations doing this type of ministry in our area.
HOW WILL THIS RACE HELP?
The proceeds from The Amazing Grace Race will directly benefit the children and teens served by Sidewalk Hope all year long. Join us for a morning of fun with your family and friends — and make a lasting impact in the lives of some truly amazing young people!
Mark your calendar and register TODAY!
While not required, we invite you to consider making a donation along with your registration. Your investment will yield a return beyond measure as we share the love of Christ with the next generation.
