The Whiskey Run Augusta is the perfect race for seasoned runners or amateur enthusiasts looking for a run that doesn’t skimp on the fun. Expect great 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon routes followed by local food pairings, whiskey samples, and music. In its second year, the run includes venues all across the southeast, with races scheduled in Atlanta, Nashville, Huntsville, and Knoxville.

The run is produced by Run Rhino. A Chattanooga-based company known for putting on unique races and events, including 7 Bridges Marathon, Scenic City Mud Run, the Caffeine Run, the World Run, and the Southeastern Santa Hustle Race Series.

Global Running Day is our holiday; a celebration of the activity we love and the sport that brings our community together. We’re inviting all runners and walkers to join us on June 3 to mark the occasion, set a goal and cross the finish line.

This year’s event will include an in-person race and virtual features that provide all participants with flexible raceday options. This means you have two ways to celebrate with us:
- Join us for an in-person 5K race on June 4th at 6pm at SRP Park
- Run your own 5K course from any location
Either way, you’ll have the ability to upload and view your results after your run!

All donated proceeds benefit: The RECing Crew

The RECing Crew Special Leisure and Recreation Association was established in 2002 by the families and friends of those with disabilities to offer leisure and recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities from the CSRA. These programs enhance the physical, emotional, and social growth of those that participate. Currently, there are 200+ individuals, ranging in the ages from 6-88, that participate in one or more of their programs.

5K/10K/Fun Run benefiting Project Refresh Inc. to help support our mobile shower service. Our mission is to provide hope one shower at a time to individuals without access to a clean refreshing shower in the CSRA. Our race will feature soaking stations along the way with water blasters to help beat the summer heat and remind everyone what it means to feel "refreshed". The race will begin at the Hammonds Ferry Soccer Complex and proceed down the scenic North Augusta Greeneway. We will end back at the soccer complex where we will host our awards ceremony and have food options available for purchase to celebrate your success!

Race Packet Pick up will be June 19th in the evening. Time and location to be confirmed.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run through two states – not to mention, our two favorite states?

Well, here’s your chance to find out!

Cross the start line in South Carolina (“The Palmetto State”) at the state-of-the-art SRP Park, in North Augusta. Listen to the spectators’ cheering fade into chirping birds and rustling leaves as you find your stride on the peaceful and picturesque North Augusta Greeneway.

Skip through the Mayberry-esque downtown North Augusta before crossing the Savannah River, into Georgia (“The Peach State”) . You’ll be feeling really good as you pace through Augusta, the hometown of the Godfather of Soul.

Scamper back into South Carolina to experience some southern charm and Charleston-inspired architecture. Slide into home base at SRP Park before snagging your medal!

Don’t forget to celebrate your home run finish with our lineup of post-race activities!
