15th Annual Red Cedar Elementary Foxes Trot 5K
We are thrilled to announce the 2026 Red Cedar Elementary Foxes Trot 5K and Fun Run. The Race will be attracting both the serious competitive racer and our school families to enjoy a morning of health and fun with their family and friends. This race has grown over the years, and we are anticipating over 700 participants this year!

Age group medal ceremony following end of the race.
1 Overall Male and Female.
Top 3 Male and Female in each age group.
Age groups: 6 and under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ and we will award first overall male and female & first overall Red Cedar Male and Female. (Plus a stroller division).
Early Packet Pick up
Friday March 6th, from 3PM-5PM we will have early Race Packet Pick Up at Red Cedar Elementary under the yellow awning to the right of the front door. Please be mindful school dismissal is at 2:45PM and you will need to park in the parking lot and walk across the front crosswalk to pick up race packets. Registered participants may pick up their bibs and t-shirts during this time or pick up between 8-9 on Saturday morning. There is no RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

Join us for the Bluffton St. Paddy's Day 5K on March 14th, 2026, and let the Irish spirit guide your stride! The race kicks off at Martin Family Park in Bluffton, weaving through the charming Historic Old Town Bluffton and along the enchanting May River. Run, walk, bring the little leprechauns—fun for the entire clan! Stroller-friendly, and our furry friends are always welcome. Little ones under 8 can join the "Chase the Leprechaun" 400-meter fun run. All proceeds and donations go to the Hilton Head Humane Association.
Dress in your finest green attire for a chance to snag the Best Costume prize! Every participant receives a technical t-shirt. Top male and female finishers, along with the top in each age division, will be honored with awards. Packet pickup on Friday, March 13th, at Palmetto Running Company, Bluffton only from 3-5pm. On race day, collect your packet at Martin Family Park from 8:00-8:45AM—no registrations on the day of the event.
Awards: 5K Awards are up for grabs for the top male and female finishers overall, as well as top in each age divisions: <12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+, and even the top 3 dogs.
Kids Fun Run: For the little ones under 8, it's the "Chase the Leprechaun" 400-meter free fun run around the park. Let's see who can catch the Pot o' Gold from Seamus O’Shamrock!
Course: The race begins at 9:00AM and ends at Martin Family Park in Bluffton, taking you through the historic town and along the scenic May River. Note that it's a partially closed course, so runners must adhere to pedestrian traffic laws. Officers will be on duty at key intersections to ensure safety.
Packet Pick Up: Brooks Running sponsors our packet pickup on March 13th from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM at Palmetto Running Company in Bluffton. Don't forget your confirmation email (hardcopy or smartphone) for pick-up, and you can pick up for more than one person. If available, additional race T-shirts can be purchased at packet pickup.
After Party: Celebrate your achievements at the after-party! Enjoy Best Costume awards, Guinness giveaways, the PRC t-shirt cannon launching free shirts into the crowd, The festivities continue long after the race is done!

The Lowcountry Tulip Trot 5K & Walk for Parkinson’s Disease is a heartfelt event inspired by the
life and legacy of Leslie W. Matthews, whose enduring spirit, generosity, and commitment
to service left a lasting impact on all who knew him. After Les passed away on March 9, 2024, at
the age of 77, his family—wife Lynn, sons Joshua and Adam, and their families—set out to
honor his memory by raising awareness and funds for Parkinsons Disease, a cause close to
their hearts.

One program we particularly wish to be able to fund and like to highlight is the annual award for an outstanding senior(s) of Teens for Healthy Youth (THY). THY is LCAHY’s youth coalition and is dedicated to promoting positive teen health through peer-to-peer education, leadership, and service. LCAHY currently has THY programs at Bluffton High, Cross Schools, Hilton Head Christian Academy, Hilton Head High and May River High School. We look forward to partnering with you as we strive to unite our community to invest in the health & wellness of our youth through education, community service, and the promotion of positive choices!

The Tiger Bass 5K is Back!
Get ready for one of Bluffton’s favorite community races — the Tiger Bass 5K at Hampton Lake returns Saturday, June 20th, 2026! Lace up your running shoes and join us for a fun-filled morning celebrating fitness, family, and the beautiful Lowcountry outdoors.
The 5K kicks off at 8:00 AM at The Barn amenity center, with a scenic route that winds through Hampton Lake’s stunning neighborhoods, bridges, and lakeside views — including the Peninsula and Bridge Side Park. Walkers, runners, families, and even four-legged friends are all welcome!

Medals will be presented to the top male and female finishers overall, plus the top three in each age group:

The May River Shrimp Fest Hawaiian Shirt Run is Saturday July 25h at 9:00am. The Hawaiian Shirt Run will Start and Finish from Bluffton Oyster Factory Park taking walkers and runners thru the historic streets of Old Towne Bluffton.

Palmetto Bluff is the best of the South Carolina Lowcountry. 20,000 acres that remain virtually undisturbed and home to some of the most beautiful trails in the Lowcountry. Join us for the annual Buffalo Run benefiting the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. Featuring an all-trail course, this 10K, 30K, and 50K race is a tree-shaded combination of single track, dirt and gravel road trail. The Buffalo Run 6.2-mile trail winds deep into the ancient maritime forests of Palmetto Bluff. Don’t be afraid to get a little muddy — it’s all a part of the experience.
30K and 50K Relay Teams. Gather your friends and compete in the 30K and 50K endurance races with either a 3-person team for the 30K or a 5-person team for the 50K.
Packet pickup. Saturday 12/12. You can pick up your packets at Palmetto Running Company located at 25 Minetta Lane. Bluffton, SC 29910 from 1-5PM.
Race Day Sunday 12/13. Gates opens at 5:30AM.
50K and 50K Relay Race begins at 6:30AM.
30K and 30K Relay begins at 8:30AM.
10K Race begins at 10:00AM.
Hydration and Fuel Stations. These stations are located midway and at the finish.
Staging Area. Relay teams and 50K Runners are allowed to set up pop-up canopy tents and tables for the support team in their designated areas. This is a cup free race - there will be water stations on the course but please bring your own hydration bottles.
Awards. Buffalo Run long sleeve shirts guaranteed to all participants registered before December 1st. Buffalo Run finishers medals for all 10K, 30K and 50K and Relay participants. All 50K individual finishers receive a Buffalo Head Award. Bronze Buffalo Awards to the overall 1st place male, female in each race and 1st place relay teams.
After Party and Awards Presentation.
The Buffalo Run After Party begins at 11:30AM. Live Music from Corn Bread. Each runner receives a free beer from a local Brewery and basket of buffalo wings.
