Fostering the Family raises awareness about the local foster and adoptive community here in Anderson County. We are hosting a fun event where you can run, walk, or roll around Anmed track at your own pace with your kids and family. This is not an official race where time will be tracked, but we are anticipating that most participants will do two laps (approximately 2 miles).
Pricing is $15 for individuals or $25 for families living in the same household.
Register as a FAMILY of 3 or more members in the same household and you'll be entered to WIN a $1500 MORTGAGE OR RENT PAYMENT!
We will be providing teddy bears with pictures of foster children in SC who are currently available for adoption, as well a time to reflect on the statistics of children in the foster care system. There will be several nonprofits and vendors for you to interact with. This event is meant for the whole family, and individuals of all ranges of ability are encouraged to come.
