Experienced racers using one day licenses will be eligible for categories per USAC rules. BikeReg will prompt you to purchase one while you are checking out.
Course is a .9 mile flat circuit with smooth roads and nice corners.

Founded in 2011, the Waterman Eco-Challenge & Summer Safe Ocean State 5K/10K is an annual multisport festival supporting charities focused on drowning prevention, cancer support, cardiac health, and coastal sustainability. The event features running, swimming, and paddleboard races.

One of the best finish lines around! Finish your run, leading up to the historic Lighthouse. Swim a 1/2 Mile starting at Gin Beach. This is a beautiful point to point swim. Bike 14 miles through Montauk and around Gosman’s Dock finishing at the lighthouse and run a 5K through wide, closed, paved roads.
Unique race with two transition areas!
The Beer Tent at the 2026 Blessing of the Fleet festival will be strictly 21+ on Friday night. Unfortunately, we will NOT be able to make exceptions to this rule for minors or young children, even if they are accompanied by an adult.

The Island's largest and most popular race begins with a 1/4 mile open water ocean swim; followed by 12 miles of biking over rolling hills with breathtaking views of the island. The last stretch is a 4 mile run on beautiful Crescent Beach.

Event details and schedule
The race begins at 9:00 a.m.There is a 6:00am boat departing Point Judith race morning. If you aren't on the island Friday night, you will be required to take this boat. Please don't forget to buy a ticket for your bike. If you plan on being on island Friday night, make reservations now. If the ferry is cancelled race day, or there is severe weather; the race will be cancelled. Race fee is non-refundable.
Roads are NOT closed during the bike portion.
Helmets for the bike portion of the race are MANDATORY!!!!
Anyone not wearing a helmet for ANY portion of the bike segment will be disqualified!!!
There will be NO day of registration. The last day to register for this event will be Thursday July 31st online only!

Connecticut's Oldest Shoreline Road Race! The Ocean Beach Kelley Half Marathon is ran over a well marked/supported road course with panoramic vistas of Long Island Sound and rural roads in the City of New London and Town of Waterford. Starting and finishing at Beautiful Ocean Beach Park. The race is FREE, runners are asked to bring a donation of food for the Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Center. Mylaps Chip Timing by SNERRO, awards in all standard age divisions, Team Competition, the Famous 'Port and Starboard Clam Chowder', Ice Cold Coca Cola Products, pre/post race physical therapy, Live Music, Huge Raffle, Finisher Medals, plus a lot more. Don't forget your swim suit, 3/4 mile long Sugar Sand Beach and Boardwalk!
Registration and course start will be on the track. After one loop on the track, we will run 1/2 mile on quiet dead end streets on the school campus, before moving into the trails (mix of single- and double track). We will exit the trails onto grass running surfaces, before crossing a picturesque bridge and finishing at the 50-yard line on the track.

This finale event brings together participants from Race4Chase programs across both states to celebrate their hard work, determination, and confidence gained throughout the summer. It’s more than a race, it’s a powerful celebration of youth achievement, healthy living, and community support.
While this event is exclusively for Race4Chase participants and not open to public registration, we need enthusiastic volunteers to help make it a safe, smooth, and unforgettable experience for every child crossing that finish line.
The Ocean State Crossing draws top Challengers from across the nation to set out on a 15 mile paddle & row navigation challenge across iconic Rhode Island Sites - Fort Adams, Newport Harbor :: Point Judith Lighthouse. This event hosts paddlers & rowers of multiple disciplines, fundraising & celebrating Summer Safe Ocean State culture!
The Ocean State Crossing end points are Fort Adams Beach In Newport Harbor & Roger Wheeler State Beach in Point Judith. The Crossing direction will be based on weather conditions with the preferred route being Point Judith to Newport.
The Ocean State Crossing is an event to celebrate Ocean Culture & support the mission of Summer Safe Ocean State L3C Organization (organization which prioritizes mission over profits & at all times further accomplishments of charitable or educational purposes). Summer Safe Ocean State L3C is committed to fostering awareness and impact toward safe, coastal recreation. We create and support initiatives which positively and directly address Drowning Prevention, Cardiac Health/Cancer Prevention & Coastal Sustainability in The Ocean State.

Register now for the Military Appreciation Day 5K!
Register for the 4th Annual MAD 5K. (Veteran and Active-duty discounts available prior to payment) The first 100 registered participants will receive a participation medal as you cross the finish line. There will be first place medals awarded to male and female in each age group. This is a relatively flat course with beautiful water views along much of the run. Plan on arriving 30-60 minutes before the race start time to ensure you have time to park and check in prior to start time of 9:00 am.
With participant purchase, each racer will obtain free access to parking at Ocean Beach Park for the race.

Enjoy not only the Military Appreciation Day 5K, but a Military Appreciation Day all day event. Active-duty military, Veterans, and their family members are welcome into Ocean Beach Park for this one-day event for free. (Military ID or DD214 to be presented for free admission at the gate). Fourth annual 4 mile race hosted by the Mohegan Striders, this race runs through Groton, CT.
It will take place on Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at 9:30am.

PARKING:
Runners should park at the EB Parking Lot, M-Lot/Annex, which comes up on google maps. It is about 0.1 miles west of Sneekers Cafe (568 Poquonnock Rd, Groton, CT). PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT SNEEKERS, there will be large race parking signs at the EB Lot. Directions from the highway are:
Take exit 87 from I-95
Continue onto CT-349 S
Turn left onto Rainville Ave
Turn right onto State Hwy 649/Poquonnock Rd
Turn right into EB Parking Lot, M-Lot/Annex
Come join us for a fun, fast 5K in Stonington Borough. Walker and runners welcome. The course is a certified 5K looping through the seaside village of Stonington Borough. Single mass start for runners and walkers in 2025.

The race starts and finishes on Main Street in Stonington Borough, adjacent to the Stonington Free Library. On street parking is available. Packet pickup pre-race TBD. Race day packet pick up will be from 5 pm to 6 pm at the starting point of the race. Food, drink, and awards ceremony to be held post-race.

The Second Beach Sprint Triathlon is a late-season race set entirely within some of Aquidneck Island’s most scenic and protected landscapes. Designed to be welcoming for first-time triathletes while still offering a rewarding course for experienced racers, this sprint is the perfect way to close out your summer of training.
The Course:
Swim
The race begins with an open-ocean swim off iconic Second Beach. Athletes will experience true coastal conditions in a clearly marked course with excellent sightlines and shoreline support.
Bike
The bike leg rolls through the scenic farmland of Middletown, featuring quiet roads, open views, and gentle elevation changes that reward steady effort without being overly technical.
Run
The run is the signature piece of the race, taking athletes out toward Sachuest Point and looping around the reservoir near Third Beach and Hanging Rock Road. This section winds entirely through protected nature preserve areas, offering a rare and beautiful racing environment surrounded by open land, water, and coastal views.
