In celebration of our 5 years running, walking, and celebrating together we would love to invite ALL past participants to join us!!
The 2026 run will start at Zelie Park, take us through our amazing town, then we will finish at Zelie Park with food trucks and a post race celebration!!
We ask that all participants register and sign a waiver. Parents, grandparents, students and siblings are all welcome! This year all participants will receive a t-shirt and bib! Kids will receive a finishing medal!! We invite all CVE students to wear your finishing medal to school on Monday April 27th!!
We are still working hard to make this event special, and a more detailed timeline will be posted as soon as it is available! If you are interested in adding to the fun please reach out!
Why 1.43? Mr. Fred Rogers was a visionary who authentically taught kindness, compassion, inclusion, empathy, and integrity. 143 is Mr Rogers code for I (1 letter) love (4 letters) you (3 letters). He is dear to our CVE community. His philosophy, including 143, has been woven into the fabric of our school. So a distance of 1.43 seemed perfect! We hope you will join us in carrying his spirit into the 1.43 Fun Run/Walk Because We Love CVE ! Bee Kind, Have Fun, Let’s Run!
I love CVE is 143 too!
We hope to see you there!!
