First Annual Bunny Run, Benefiting the Care Center Foundation
Hop into spring at the First Annual Bunny Run in West Chester, PA! Join us on March 28th for a festive 2K Walk and 5K Run supporting the incredible work of the Care Center Foundation, an organization dedicated to uplifting under‑resourced families through education, family programs, holiday meals, social services, and safe‑housing support for women and children.
Slip on your bunny tails, lace up your sneakers, and bring your loved ones for a morning filled with movement, laughter, and Easter‑themed fun. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or simply out for a cheerful stroll, everyone is welcome on the course.
And yes, the Easter Bunny will be there to greet participants, pose for photos, and cheer you on as you hop across the finish line.

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.
Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.
Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.
Makeup Date Information: 6/14/2026
Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.
Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

Run. Walk. Celebrate. Empower.
Join us for the 2026 Uprising 5K & Walk for Autism — a high-energy, community-driven event supporting inclusive fitness and wellness programs for individuals with autism and intellectual & developmental disabilities.
This year, we’re expanding beyond the finish line. After the race, we’re planning a community celebration at Everhart Park featuring music, food trucks, vendors, and family-friendly activities (pending final approval). Our goal is to create a space where participants, families, and supporters can connect, celebrate, and continue building an inclusive community.

Running Home 5K seeks to raise community awareness and financial support for North Star of Chester County. North Star is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that seeks to help single working parents towards stability and financial independence.

The West Chester Mile is back. Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 13th, as we gather at Henderson High School's renowned lightning-fast track for a day of thrilling races.
To ensure a fair and exciting competition, participants will be divided into heats based on their running abilities. It's crucial to seed yourself correctly to guarantee you're paired with fellow runners of similar skill levels. But the excitement doesn't end with your own race! After your run, make sure to stay and witness some of the fastest races in action. Cheering on these impressive athletes is sure to inspire and electrify the atmosphere.
And what better way to cap off the incredible day than joining us for a vibrant post-race party at the Hotel Warner. Mingle with fellow runners, share your race stories, and celebrate the accomplishments of the day in style. The post race party begins at 8:45pm and will Include free pizza and great drink specials.
Don't miss out on this fantastic event that brings together runners of all levels, from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned pros. The West Chester Mile promises to be an unforgettable experience, so lace up your shoes, embrace the competitive spirit, and let's make this year's event one for the books! We are offering a prize money pool of more than $6000. Prize money will be exclusively given to male runners who break the 4-minute mark and female runners who break the 4-minute 40-second mark. Community Volunteers in Medicine welcomes community members, patients, volunteers, and all who want to honor Dr. Mary Wirshup to the 5k Run/Walk/Family Fun Day. For those who wish to honor Dr. Mary, creative costumes are encouraged but not required! Prizes will be awarded to runners in several categories including best costume and best team costume.
Proceeds from this event will support the work that Dr. Mary Wirshup championed at CVIM: providing free, comprehensive health care to low-income, working members of our community. This event honors Dr. Mary’s legacy as a friend to every patient and volunteer, a passionate advocate for healthcare access for all, and an extraordinarily skilled, compassionate physician.
All event costs will be covered by a friend.
CVIM provides free, high quality healthcare to uninsured working people with low incomes to help them live healthy, productive lives and to assure health equity in the Chester County Region.
