In honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance invites you to participate in the 25th Anniversary Cycling Challenge – a year-long series of 20+ events along the 9/11 National Memorial Trail. The Challenge is a unique opportunity to engage with the 9/11 Trail through remembrance, discovery, and connection. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just beginning, this event series allows you to explore different parts of the trail while accumulating miles, earning awards, and honoring the memory of those affected by 9/11.

Join us in celebrating resilience, community, and remembrance as we journey along this iconic trail, connecting the 9/11 Memorial sites in New York City, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and Arlington, Virginia.

The 21th Annual “Sarris Candies Run for Alex” will be in Bentleyville on June 6, 2026 at 9am. It is a great event consisting of a 5 mile run, 2 mile run and 1 mile fun walk. All races will begin and end in front of the Bentworth High School (150 Bearcat Drive, Bentleyville PA 15314).

*There will be no race day registration. All participants must be registered by Friday June 5th, 2026. Online registration will close on Thursday June 4th at 11:59 pm. Late registration will be offered Friday night during packet pick up. Runners who are registered in advance will be able to pick up their packets on race morning but are strongly encouraged to pick up Friday night if able.

Packet pick up will be held on June 5th, 2026 from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm and June 6, 2026 from 7 am to 8:15 am in Bentworth High School parking lot.

Shirts guaranteed if registered by May 1st. A very limited amount will be available after May 1st. Make sure to register early to get a shirt in your size!

It will be another great day full of fun celebrating Alex's short but amazing life.
