The Tyrone Race Series presents The Gold Rush Race!

The Gold Rush Race will be a 5K Walk and Run Events, Lenny The Leprechaun's Hill Challenge 10K Run & Kids Sprint Event that will take place over Tyrone's Annual Tyrone Irish Heritage Celebration on March 14th, 2026!

Proceeds from this year's Gold Rush Race Event benefactor is Tyrone Area Food Bank! Founded in 1978, the Tyrone Area Food Bank services clients residing in the Bellwood-Antis or Tyrone Area School District. The food bank is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS. The food bank is a 100% volunteer organization. The food bank is open Thursday mornings from 9-10:30 am, and in the evening on the 2nd Thursday from 5:30-7 prn. Clients are welcome to visit once per month. It is located in the Wesley United Methodist Church, 1200 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, Pennsylvania 16686.

Day of Event Tyrone Area Food Bank will be accepting food donations of Cereal and Oatmeal. Thank you in advance for your contribution to the Tyrone area and surrounding community.

6:30 AM : Check in and day of registration will take place at Tyrone Armory

9:30 AM: Kids Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash)

The Tyrone Race Series presents The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint!

The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint Event that will take place on June 20th, 2026!

In 1871, as the region of Tyrone started to settle, 31 residents saw a need for fire protection and started assisting the community as Neptune Steam Volunteer. Today, Neptune Fire Company has served our community as a volunteer fire company for over 150 years and is stationed at 1701 Lincoln Avenue in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. In 2024, Neptune Fire Company has 25 members assisting the community in more than 375 calls per year. Each firefighter is safely equipped with gear costing over $8,000 to help fight fires and assist the community. Donations raised will assist operational funds and equipment upgrades.
