Join us for a fun and active day on the trails to help raise funds for a much-needed playground at Newport Elementary School! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just want to enjoy a walk with friends and family, this event is for everyone.

Register by April 1st and receive a t-shirt and a swag bag. We will also have an awards ceremony after the race is complete to give out top 3 in male and female for several age brackets.

10k Trail Run features a covered bridge and a historic mill.

The race is dog-friendly!

- Race course is on a variety of terrain (pavement, gravel & grass)
- Virtual 5K option also available (see details below)
- Guaranteed T-shirt in selected size if registered by April 25th
- Kids 5 & under are FREE for all events (T-shirt NOT included)
- Raffles & refreshments will be on site for participants & spectators
- Strollers permitted (umbrella strollers not recommended)
- Pets are welcome, but MUST be on a leash & cleaned up after
REGISTRATION FEES:
- 'Live' 5K Race Fees:
- $20 = NOW through Jan 31st
- $25 = Feb 1st through May 13th @ noon
- $30 = Race Day (VENMO, Cash or Check ONLY accepted on Race Day)
- Guaranteed T-shirt in selected size if registered by April 25th
- 'Virtual' 5K Race Fees:
- Run or walk 3.1 miles at your leisure by May 16th, wherever you choose – a treadmill, trail or your neighborhood.
- $35 Fee = Includes mailed event T-Shirt (If registered AFTER May 13th, we can NOT guarantee requested size availability)
- Finisher medal will be mailed upon request to those who submit tracked mileage time (based on the honor system) via email to hipp31@hotmail.com by May 17th at 11:59pm. If you submit your mileage time to be included in overall results, but do not wish to receive a 'finisher medal', please indicate this in your email.
AWARDS ('Live' 5K Event Only):
- Medals will be awarded to the overall top male and female finishers as well as the top 3 male & female runners in the following age categories:
- 12 & under,13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
o Awarded participants must be present for the awards ceremony - No 'Live' 5K event medals will be mailed.
