  The 28th annual Tortoise and Hare 5K is a long-standing favorite 5K in the Lehigh Valley. Each Memorial Day runners gather at Wind Gap Memorial Park to kick-off their holiday celebration. The rolling course will start near the park and finish up with a great food spread! Registration includes a short-sleeved shirt if registered by May 8th.

  Location: Wind Gap Memorial Park

  Race Start: 9:00 AM

  Packet Pickup: 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM

  Pricing:

  January 1 - April 30= $30

  May 1 - May 18 = $35

  May 19 - Race Day = $40

  The 5K is timed by Second Wind Race and the unique custom race tile prizes are a favorite!

  Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

  The race begins with the National Anthem and is started by a local military veteran and a portion of the event proceeds benefit local youth charities.
