Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.
Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.
High School: We also welcome our high school runners! Our high school students will be running a 2 mile race.
Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.
Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

Don’t Stall, Just Call is an alcohol education and prevention program. Education is critical in preventing senseless deaths from alcohol.
Join us April 25, 2026 at Temple University Ambler Campus and support our life saving educational mission by participating in the 11th Annual Don't Stall, Just Call 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk, & Tot Trot (5 years and under)! Tot Trot begins at 8:45am sharp, 5K Run immediately following, and 1 Mile Walk begins right after. Proceeds fund our Don't Stall, Just Call alcohol education and prevention trainings, The CTC Wellness Foundation Scholarship at Temple University Tyler School Art & Architecture as well as many initiatives throughout the year. We are grateful for your support!

The race will start and finish behind Redner's
After the race celebrate your accomplishments at our post race after party just past the finish line. After part is included in your race entry fee. Post race party will feature amazing taco pizza from Rocco's Pizza (located just across the parking lot) and a margarita as well as a new souvenir cup to take home and remember your experience.

This fantastic Friday night 5K and Kids' Fun Run is the perfect way to kick-off your weekend and show your support for the Spring-Ford Area Educational Foundation.
Not only that, but all 5K finishers will receive a unique race medal and everyone who registers for the 5K by April 1st will get the incredible race-themed long-sleeve T-shirt.
When: Friday May 15th @ 6:15 pm (Kids fun run) and 6:30 pm (5K Run/Walk)

The Spring-Ford Educational Foundation 5K benefits the Senior Impact Dinner. Beginning with the Class of 2006, SFASD has honored individuals nominated by graduation seniors who have made an impact on their educational experience. A dinner is held for nominees and the seniors who nominated them to celebrate how each individual has impacted the lives our students.

On June 7, 2026, our fight continues. As long as there are patients waiting for a cure, as long as there's hope to give, we ride. Together.

The Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Task Force is hosting a Walk to Prevent Suicide on Sunday, September 13 at Temple - Ambler Campus. Register today for this inspirational walk to support suicide awareness, education, and prevention. Bring your family and friends to join us in this important cause!
Children 10 years of age and younger are free, and children 11 years and up as well as adults need to register on this site. During registration, you can also create or join a team.
The walk is approximately X miles. Parking is available in Lot 1 on Meetinghouse Road. Check-in on walk day begins across the street from parking at 8:30 am with the walk starting at 9:00 am. Refreshments, fun for kids, and mental health resources will be available as well as a giveaway item for the first 150 registered walkers. Dogs are welcome, subject to Temple - Ambler's Ground Rules.
