Come run or walk with us for the 14th Annual Sacred Heart 5K Run/Family Fun Walk and 1 mile Kids Dash!

On the Family Fun Walk you will travel the streets of Manoa, while the longer 5K run will take you further into picturesque Havertown. Strollers are welcome! We will also have a special guest appearance by Sacred Heart’s Lucky Leprechaun.

AWESOME FAMILY RATE: Families can register for an amazing price of only $65 (multi-person discount)!

Top male and female runners get a cash prize. Top 2 in each age group get an award.

Proceeds from this event go towards the improvement and growth of Sacred Heart School.

• Friday, March 6th from 5:30-7:30 PM at Everett Hall (Sacred Heart Church)

• OR come between 9:45-10:15 AM on Race Day (March 7th)

• Race Day: Get to Everett Hall by 10:00 AM for the National Anthem!

Haverford Twilight 5K Run & Walk

WHAT: The Twilight Run is a signature event sponsored by the Haverford Township School District Education Foundation. Proceeds from the race directly support the Foundation’s Mini Grant and Empowerment Grant programs, which fund innovative and inspiring educational initiatives across our district schools.

This year, we’re excited to debut a new race location at Lynnewood Elementary School. The course will start at Lynnewood and wind through the surrounding neighborhoods and main streets, creating a fun and vibrant race experience for runners of all ages.

The evening is about more than just the run. Participants and families can enjoy kids’ activities, music, and post-race snacks, making it a true community celebration.

We can’t wait to welcome runners, families, and supporters back for an unforgettable Twilight Run!

WHEN: Saturday, April 18, 2026

• 4:45 p.m. for 1 Mile Elementary School Challenge

• 5:00 p.m. for the 5K Run

• 5:05 p.m. for the 5K Walk

WHERE: Lynnewood Elementary School - 1400 Lawrence Rd, Havertown, PA

REGISTRATION FEES:

· 1 Mile Elementary School Challenge - $25.00 until April 1st, 11:59 p.m., $30.00 from April 2nd till 18th

· 5K Run/Walk - $35 until April 1st, 11:59 p.m., $40 from April 2nd till 18th

RACE PACKET PICKUP: Saturday, April 18 th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Lynnewood Elementary School - 1400 Lawrence Rd, Havertown, PA 19083. You can register up until 4:30 p.m. on April 18th.

NOTE: If you are pre-registered for the Run, please stop by Lynnewood & pick up your race packet early to avoid the crowds!

IMPORTANT TIPS

RACE PACKET PICK-UP: Package pick-up will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18th. Please try to pick up your Race Bib and T-shirts as early as possible. Pick up will be quick and easy if you take the time to stop by Lynnewood before the crowd forms about an hour before the race.

PARKING: There will be parking at Lynnewood Elementary and in the neighborhoods surrounding the school.

BATHROOMS: There will be bathrooms available at the elementary school.

PETS: Although we all love pets, the Twilight Run is a family-friendly event with many young children and families who may not be comfortable around animals. Please keep your pets at home.

For those of you who are new or unfamiliar, the Maniac Magee is an annual two-mile race (one-mile walk) for the entire Chatham Park community. As with tradition, all of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the End Hunger and Well- Rooted.

This 2-mile run / 1-mile walk through the Chatham Park neighborhood is a great race for new runners and for families looking to walk or run together for a great cause. Here's a layout of the day:

● 5PM: Race registration opens

● 5:30PM: Run/walk

● Participation Raffle and refreshments will occur immediately after the race

● 5:30PM-7:30PM Chatham Park HASA's May Fair (details to follow)
