Lace up those sneakers and join us for a one-mile fun run benefiting a local family who is in the adoption process! This event is all about community, encouragement, and coming together to support this family as they navigate the journey of adoption.
Whether you walk, jog, run, push a stroller, or cheer from the sidelines, everyone is welcome, even those with four legs. Every step you take helps raise funds to assist the family with the significant costs and resources involved in adoption—because families are worth the journey.
This is not a race against the clock (however we will have medals for the first male and female finisher), but a celebration of hope, love, and connection. Bring your friends, bring your kids, bring your dog, bring your energy, and help us make a meaningful impact—one mile at a time.
Come join the South Side cross country and track teams for our 3rd annual 5K on our South Side campus in Hookstown, PA. This sunset fun run will help us all close out the summer and get ready for school to begin. This run will be part cross country trail, part track, and also through our school grounds. There are no public roads or traffic, making it a great run for kids and families. Race will be followed by fun family activities.
All proceeds benefit the middle and high school track and cross-country teams.
Race starts at 7PM. Registration and packet pick-up starts at 6PM
You must register by July 31st in order to be guaranteed a shirt!
Age groups: 1-8, 9-10, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
We are also accepting donations through this site. Become a donor at gold ($100+) silver ($50-99) bronze ($20-49) level and have your name on the back of the race shirt. Friend donations (under $20) are still very much appreciated. Donations must be received by July 31st to be on the shirt. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Gather your teammates (5+ from South Side Football, Hopewell Soccer, Lincoln Park Volleyball, or any school team!) and register together for just $10 each runner. Compete as a team and we'll average the times of your top 5 finishers. Go head-to-head with other school squads for awesome prizes! Optional additional race shirts will be available for purchase.
