THIS IS A MEMORIAL RIDE MEANT FOR COMMRADERIE and REMEMBERING the tragic events on 9-11 and honoring our first responders, military and veterans.
All Proceeds are given to the Tunnel to Tower Foundation.
The 43 mile and metric century routes provide a picturesque ride through Lehigh Twp and Moore Twp in Northampton County with 2 challenging hill climbs and a passage through a covered bridge in Carbon County. The 19 mile ride stays on the south side of the Blue Mtn range and includes smaller climbs to accommodate the intermediate and beginner cyclists and is equally picturesque riding through farm country. The metric ride combines both rides for a more challenging route for experienced cyclists.
Each route provides rest areas with snack and hydration stations.
For your SAFETY, the ride is escorted by the B.A.C.K. Harley motorcycle club, Pennsylvania State Police and a SAG wagon, with fire police stationed at major intersections.
THIS RIDE IS NOT A RACE ! ! and we expect all cyclists to respect our efforts for safety and the escort team protecting your ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED and E bikes are permitted on this ride.
