Capital Coast Bike Race is a self-supported ultra-distance challenge starting in Washington, DC, with 300 mile, 500 mile and 850 mile option. Designed for committed cyclists, it welcomes first-time ultra riders through seasoned endurance racers seeking a true battle by bicycle.
Expect GPS-verified courses, checkpoint cutoffs, and multi-day riding windows so you can plan sleep, resupply, and pacing strategy.
All routes start near Washington, DC at the same time conveniently near Dulles Airport. They end also conveniently near airports in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.
The 300 mile route will have roughly 13k Climbing, 500 mile around 18k and 850 mile race near 20k because we ride the coast ! Fast and furious

The Gettysburg Festival of Races is the combination of four historic races in one single weekend! Come and race just outside the hallowed grounds of the Gettysburg battlefield. Our course winds through beautiful wooded back country roads, past fields, and farms, and crosses the historic Mason-Dixon line into Maryland and back.

Sunday, April 25 Gettysburg North-South 10K, Gettysburg Blue-Gray Half Marathon, Lincoln 5K

The 24th Potomac River Run Marathon & Half, will be held on Saturday, May 1st, 2027, at Fletcher's Cove, 4940 Canal Road, Washington DC, on C&O Canal Towpath.

On Friday, April 30th, 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM, we host pre-race packet pickup at PACERS RUNNING STORE, 3100 Clarendon Blvd, Arlington, VA, across from Clarendon Metro.
On race day, Saturday, May 1st, on-site packet pickup opens from 6:00 AM to 8:15 AM at Fletcher's Cove. We ask Marathoners to arrive for pickup from 6:00-7:15 AM and Half Marathoners from 7:00-8:15 AM to avoid overcrowding.
The Marathon starts at 7:30 AM
The Half Marathon starts at 08:30 AM
We report marathon results to the Boston Athletic Association (BAA) before the end of May so you can qualify for Boston 2028.
Come and join us for one of the fastest marathon & half races in the DC Area.
Monetary prizes for the top 3 finishers and awards for each of the age group winners.

The racecourse is 99% crushed gravel -- no hills -- no pavement except for two short stretches to prevent erosion, no cross streets
Be aware the aid stations close as the last runner approaches. Last Aid Station at Lock 6 closes at 1:30 PM. Please if you are a slow runner, bring your own water bottle to the race
