We are all ready to get outside to start training for the summer race season. Part of that is starting our open water swim program.

If you want any coaching at these clinics, please contact us so we can make arrangements to have a coach work with you. Watch for our clinic nights where you can learn from our coaches in a small group setting.

All swims are monitored open water swims with swim buoys, lifeguards, kayakers to watch swimmers and help them become better in open water swims for their upcoming races. 1-2 Lifeguards certified in open water swimming present at each event. These lifeguards are open water swim certified.

Additional kayakers on the water each Monday night and weekend clinic to patrol for safety. We are always looking for volunteers to kayak for these. We do trade kayaking for free swimming!

Swimmers must be a USAT Member or purchase a 1 day membership for the swims and clinics. This is our insurance and is required.

Directions:
- From 79, take the Portersville exit.
- Go E. Portersville Rd
- Take an immediate LEFT onto Badger Hill Rd. all the way down to the cove.
- It turns into a dirt road the closer you get to the cove

May 16 Youth Races 4:00 pm South Shore Moraine.
- Youth Races, May 16. (Race Day packet pick-up for youth races for no extra fee).
- Adult races for the Mighty Moraine Spring Multi-Sport Festival at Moraine State Park will be May 16-17, 2026 at Lakeview Beach on the North Shore.
The races will start at 6:50 AM.

Registration and packet pick-up will take place on
- Monday, May 11 at open water swim at Porters Cove, Moraine State Park
- Tuesday, May 12 evening at Pro Bike and Run, North Park Location 5:30 to 6:30 PM,
- Wednesday, May 13, Public Lands Cranberry Township, PA 5:00 to 6:00 PM
- Thursday, May 14 at Moraine State Park 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Friday, May 15 at Moraine State Park North Shore, Lakeview Beach from 2:00 to 6:00 PM
- Saturday Adult Olympic Races and Youth Races
- Sunday Sprint and Super Sprint Races
- Youth will pick up their packets on race day on Saturday evening at the South Shore Moraine State Park from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. (No late packet pick fee for youth athletes)
- Adults' pick-up on Saturday for the Sunday races from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Lakeview Beach, North Shore Moraine State Park or at the South Shore during the youth packet pick-up from 4:00 to 5:00 PM
- There will be no race day packet pick-up unless you pay the $20 race fee + processing fees. Full race schedule can be found at www.getfitfamilies.com in April
- No refunds after January 1, 2026. Full refund if within 2 days of registering. Partial refunds or deferral until December 31. No refunds after December 31.
- Under no circumstances will medals or awards be mailed or dropped off after the race. With live results, we can see if you placed in your age group before you leave the venue. YOu must pick-up your award at the venue or have someone get it for you.
