3 running, walking, and fun run events in Burrell Township, Pennsylvania

Everyone has been touched by mental illness in some way--either through our own struggle or through witnessing the struggle of a friend or family member. Please help put an end to the stigma of mental illness by joining us for the 6th Torrance Trot (benefitting the Torrance State Hospital-Patient Fund). Awards will be given to the top overall male/female finisher and top finisher in each age group.

Together, as a community, we will no longer stand for judgment and we will recognize that ALL people deserve to live their best possible

There will also be a free Kid's fun run (ages 9 and under, begins at 0830) and all participants will receive a participation medal. We will have a limited amount of kid's size t-shirts available as well for $5.00. Join us for the Teresa J. Martin Memorial 5K Walk/Run, a meaningful community event held in loving memory of Teresa J. Martin, who passed away from ALS in October 2023.

Teresa was an avid walker who found joy, strength, and peace in every step she took. This 5K honors her love of walking while bringing our community together to raise awareness and funds to support the fight against ALS.

Whether you choose to run, walk, or stroll, every step you take helps support ALS research and services for individuals and families affected by this devastating disease. This event is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels—just as Teresa would have wanted.

Come walk in her memory, celebrate her life, and help us move closer to a world without ALS.

The 15th Annual InFirst Bank Veteran's Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay races will be held on the beautiful Ghost Town Trail near Indiana, Pennsylvania on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The marathon is a certified Boston qualifier. All proceeds from the race go to support veterans in Western Pennsylvania through the Western Pennsylvania Veterans Relief Fund, a 501c3. Monies from the race will be used to support the needs of veterans in our communities. The race is hosted by the Indiana Road Runners Club.

While we cannot predict the guidelines and protocols that will be in effect or necessary at the time of the race, please know that we will abide by local and state regulations and are committed to providing racers, spectators and volunteers with a safe event.
