What Is OUTLAST?
OUTLAST is a 6-hour trail endurance challenge where runners complete a 5K every hour, on the hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to stay in the event. If you finish early, you rest until the next round. Miss a lap, and you’re out.
Complete all six rounds, and you OUTLAST.
This isn't just about speed — it's about pacing, discipline, and mental grit. Whether you're trying to survive all six or win your division, the challenge is the same: show up each hour, push your limits, and stay in it.
Each course is trail-based, with natural terrain, elevation, and unpredictable conditions. You’ll have time between rounds to recover, refuel, and refocus — but not much.
What You Earn:
4 laps = “Grit Earned” patch
5 laps = “Survivor” patch
6 laps = Premium “OUTLAST” medal
All participants receive a premium OUTLAST Tee.
Top male and female with the fastest combined 5K times at each event win the 1st Place OUTLAST award.
Finishers are ranked on the national leaderboard—and the fastest runner across all OUTLAST 6-hour events will be crowned National Champion and take home $1,000.
The 1st Place Male and Female 6-hour champions from each city will earn a spot in the Outlast Championship, where they’ll compete against the best of the best at the end of the Tour, and the 1st place male and female winners take home $1000 each. (This is separate from the national leaderboard prize money.)
By the end of the tour, the top 100 best times nationally will be invited to also compete in the Outlast Championship.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I have to run all 6 laps?
Nope. Run as many as you can. If you complete 4 or 5, you'll still earn a patch. Only those who finish all 6 get the OUTLAST medal and leaderboard ranking.
What happens if I don’t finish a lap in time?
You're out. The next lap starts at the top of the next hour, and only those who completed the last lap on time can continue.
How is the race timed?
Each 5K is timed individually. If you complete all 6, your combined time counts toward the local win and national leaderboard.
Are these trail races or road?
Every OUTLAST race is on trail terrain — dirt, rocks, roots, and elevation. Sometimes some pavement and gravel.
Can I walk?
Yes, as long as you finish the 5K within the hour. But some courses are rugged, and time can sneak up on you.
Are there aid stations?
Yes. There will be water, basic hydration, and snacks at the basecamp/loop start. This is a cupless event — bring your own bottle or hydration system.
What should I bring?
Trail shoes, hydration system, layers (weather dependent), fuel between laps, and grit.
Can I setup a tent?
Absolutely, bring your own aid station/tent setup.
Is OUTLAST for beginners?
Yes — if you're mentally tough. You don’t need to be fast, just consistent and ready to suffer a little.
How do I win?
If you finish all 6 laps and have the fastest combined time, you win your division (male/female). Winners are also added to the national leaderboard for a shot at the $1,000 national prize & title.

We are excited to announce the 15th edition of the annual Bowerman 5k!
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, July 25th, at Nike WHQ. In addition to the main event, we are bringing back the free elementary school 1km race before the running of our annual 5k.

LOCATION/COURSE:
Held at the Nike World Headquarters, participants will run a closed-off interior road within the campus. The smooth tarmac loops around the beautiful Nike WHQ campus, starting and finishing at the Lebron James Courtyard. Race-bib pickup, vendors, and giveaways will take place in the Mia Hamm Courtyard close to the start line.

ABOUT
Started in 2010, the Bowerman 5k is an annual road race held in the month of July at the Nike Campus in Beaverton, Oregon. The 5k is a great opportunity to get the whole family involved in a fun and active event. Our competitors include young kids, stroller walkers, competitive masters and elite runners, and we encourage all ages and abilities to come and join the fun. If you’re looking for a 5k personal best, the course is a fast one! Over the years, the race’s popularity has grown and in 2015 it was rated as one of the 7 Must-Do 5k Races in the United States by Competitor Magazine.

Run for the Oaks
This is the 10th annual Run for the Oaks at Left Coast Cellars! The course will predominantly be on gravel roads or off-road with trail and paved road segments. The run will meander throughout the Left Coast Cellars estate and runners will pass oak forests, vineyards, and gardens with spectacular views of the Willamette Valley. This run has been created to raise funds for our Oak Savanna Restoration Project. The goal of the project is to model how ecological integrity can coincide with responsible industry.

NEW EVENT! The Homer Parade Mile.
Lead the Homer Davenport Community Festival parade! The Homer Parade Mile is Saturday morning, August 1. Runners will "lead" the parade by running the parade route through downtown Silverton, being cheered by the thousands of people lining the parade route.
The start will be on North Water St. near Silverton Middle School and finish just past Roth's Fresh Market on North First St.
Combine The Homer Parade Mile with the Homer's Classic 8k on Sunday to see who is the overall mile/8k winner.

Sunday, August 2,The Homer Classic 8k and 2 mile run/walk start and finish of is Silverton High School, 1456 Pine St., Silverton, OR. There is plenty of parking at the high school.
The 8k run features a scenic, flat and fast course running through the Historic Gallon House Bridge, the only covered bridge in Marion County.
The races are organized by the Silverton Runners' Club. Proceeds go to support the Silverton, Gervais and Mt. Angel schools' track and cross country programs, scholarships for youth runners to attend running camps, and other local fitness activities.
No dogs or motorized vehicles permitted.

This year’s 3K and 5K courses have remained the same from the previous year, and the overall race format remains the same.
Online registration is available via RunSignUp and is highly encouraged. Same-day registration will also be available onsite as in previous years.

This 28th Annual Girlfriends All-Women’s Triathlon & Fitness Festival at a beautiful venue along the Columbia River offers something for everyone so rally your girlfriends, train together and then cross the finish line with your best girls!
It is one of the most scenic areas with views of the Columbia River, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens and Vancouver Lake. The course is flat and fast with a down-current swim close to the shore so perfect for a 1st time Triathlon or Multisport event! Kids Triathlon and a Sunset 5K/10K are scheduled Friday night and Co-Ed events on Saturday so make a whole weekend of it for the whole family.

Hope in motion 2K & 5K for Parkinson’s is a community charity run/walk bringing neighbors together to support individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease.
This event benefits Parkinson’s research, education, and local support programs that help improve quality of life for those living with the disease. Funds raised will go toward advancing treatment efforts and providing resources for caregivers and families.
This is an inclusive, family-friendly walk designed for all ages and abilities. The courses offered will be 2K and 5K.

Join our Semper Fi & America's Fund Team for the Hood to Coast Relay and help us raise $20,000 for The Fund.
Our team will be comprised of Team Semper Fi (service members who participate in The Fund's Recovery through Sport program) and Community Athletes (Fundraisers). This partnership will be a unique experience for everyone involved!
The Providence Hood To Coast Relay, located in Oregon, is the most popular and largest running and walking relay race in the world, annually drawing participants from over 40 countries. Known as the Mother of All Relays, the event takes 12-member relay teams 199 miles from the iconic top of Mount Hood to the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. The event has sold-out for 30 straight years and on lottery opening day for 23 consecutive years.
Fundraising minimum $3,000. Your $3,000 fundraising will cover the costs for a member of Team Semper Fi to participate in the Relay.
Registration cost $225.00 per person
As you register for the team a personal fundraising page will be created for you. This page can be customized with pictures and your personal message.
Each team member will receive a Semper Fi & America's Fund running shirt.
Each team member is responsible for their own travel to and from the event.
The Fund will provide vans that will transport the team during the event.
The Hood to Coast Relay takes place on Friday, Aug 27nd through Saturday, August 30. Participants need to arrive in Portland no later than Thursday, Aug 27 and stay until Sunday, Aug 30.
The Blacklight Run™ is none other than the brightest, most fun 5K out there. At the Blacklight Run™ we aren’t focused on how fast or how far you can run, what type of exercise you enjoy, or if you’re an avid runner. We don’t care if you’ve never run a day in your life! Instead, we welcome any and all participants looking for a glowing good time. Whether you sprint it, run it, or walk it, it doesn’t matter to us! We simply want you to enjoy it. This up to three miles race will be the best event you’ve ever spent with your friends and family—we promise.
The Blacklight Run™ has been setup with very simple rules
Wear a white shirt (any white T-shirt will work).
You will finish covered in Blacklight Run™ UV Glow Powder, that will glow in our Blacklight Zones™ and at the Blacklight Run After Party™. By the end, you will look like you fell into a Ghost Buster’s movie (minus the slime) and covered with different colored Blacklight Run™ UV Liquid Glow. This is the first of its kind at night and is quickly sweeping the nation!

PACKET PICK-UP DATE AND TIME WILL BE EMAILED BEFORE THE EVENT.
*Please bring a photo ID to pick up your race packet. There is a $5.00 fee to pick up your packet on race day. This fee was instituted to encourage people to attend pre-packet pickup so we can minimize lines and wait times on race day. Yes, we do allow people to pick up packets for other people (team member, family, friends). As long as their waiver has been signed online (generally done during registration) you will just need to present their confirmation email. That way, we know you have permission to get your friends’ stuff!
PRE-ORDER MERCHANDISE
All items that have been pre-ordered MUST be picked up by start time on race day or at packet pickup. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to mail items to you after race day any items that have not been claimed will be forfeited and donated. Please make time to go pick up you pre-ordered GLOW Gear. Pick up your pre-ordered GLOW Gear at the packet pickup location or the event.
RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP
If you are unable to pick up your race packet and/or register on either of the packet pickup dates, you will be able to do so on race day. However there is a same day race check in fee of $5 (Cash Only) per registration.
Please arrive early to have ample time to park and line up at the start line. Don’t stress out if you are stuck in traffic. We will leave the start line open for everyone to be able to run the race.
PARKING
There is up to a $20 fee (cash only) for parking. Please arrive early to avoid traffic.
NO BAG CHECK
(no lockers, etc.)
Please note that there is NO bag check. So leave your valuables in the car or take what you want with you!
STARTING LINE
We will be releasing waves of runners every 2-5 minutes at the starting line at the events start time.
RACE BIB
Be sure to attach your race bib to the front of your shirt with the safety pins provided. You will NOT be allowed on the course without a race bib.
PRE-RACE PARTY
Starts 45 minutes before the race. This is the best pre-party in the country. Music to blow you away and a chance to get a ton of free glow gear at the stage!
Get ready for an evening of fun, UV liquid glow and memories. DJs to be announced soon!
SPECTATORS
There will be no charge for spectators. An open area for spectator viewing will be available on both sides of the start/finish line. Be sure to carpool!
WATER STATIONS
There will be a water station on the course and at the finish line.
AFTER RACE PARTY
Please stay after the race for an amazing Blacklight Run After Party. Glow Powder will be sprayed across the crowd at the After Party under the most Blacklights ever seen assembled.
