    ⭐️ Race entry includes admission to all three days of WinterFest! ⭐️

    Early registration will close on Thursday, February 12 at midnight. Any latecomers can sign up on-site on Sunday morning starting at 11 am.

    WinterFest entry is included with your registration! All Hot Cocoa Run attendees will receive an emailed WinterFest ticket to your email on file for the run. You will use this ticket to gain entry to WinterFest NOT your registration. Our volunteers at the entry gates can also look up your name if you can not find your WinterFest ticket.

    Don't forget to check in! Your QR code will be scanned to get your registration information. Print your QR code or have it available on your phone when you arrive.

    A fun 5K with a full Hot Cocoa bar at the finish with toppings and Crater Lake spirits.

    The Hot Cocoa Run will take place during WinterFest 2026 celebrating the magic of winter Feb. 13 - Feb. 15 at the Old Mill in Bend, OR.

    This will be an untimed 5K loop on Sunday at noon during the Northwest’s biggest festival. A full hot cocoa bar with all the toppings and Crater Lake spirits, including espresso vodka, await one and all at the finish line. Costumes are encouraged!

    Join us for the 38th annual Salmon Run which returns to Bend, Oregon on April 18, 2026.

    Distances include the HALF MARATHON (13.1 miles), 10K, and 5K races. All courses weave along the beautiful Deschutes River on trails and some pavement.

    Taking place in the spring, the Salmon Run is one of the first running events of the season and the essential tip-off to the local racing scene in Central Oregon. Traversing beautiful dirt and paved trails amongst junipers and pines, the race course winds through some of the most scenic natural areas in Bend and finishes on the lawn Riverbend Park. Make a weekend of it!

    Bring the kids for the Little Fry Run too!

    Course Details

    The Salmon Run course takes runners along the beautiful and picturesque Deschutes River. The half marathon course is 75% paved sidewalks and 25% trail. The 10K course is 80% paved sidewalks and 20% trail. The 5K is 65% paved sidewalks and 35% trail. All courses will be marked with a combination of mile markers and directional arrows.

    Finish Line Festivities

    Enjoy a post-race party with delicious food and beverages (beer!) and music. We’ve got gift bags and awards for the top three male and female finishers in both open and master’s categories! 1st, 2nd & 3rd place ribbons for top age-group finishers.

    Parking for Race Day

    There is limited parking at Riverbend Park on race day. We highly recommend carpooling. Parking attendants will direct you as you arrive. Additional parking is available on City streets.

    Calling all Happy Girls!!

    The 16th Annual Happy Girls Run series returns to Central Oregon with its first race of the season in Bend, Oregon. Participants of all abilities can choose from the all-women’s Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K races.

    The 7th Annual Heroes on the Run

    Presented by Subaru of Bend

    Run in the morning. Celebrate all day.

    For the first time ever, Heroes on the Run is part of Heroes & Hounds, a full-day celebration in Bend’s Old Mill District in partnership with the Hungry Hound Doggolympics.

    After the race, enjoy a live frisbee show by JD Platt & The K9 Kings. Then, cheer on the Hungry Hound Doggolympics on the lawn at Greg’s Grill. The Doggolympics feature an obstacle agility course, high jump, a 50-yard sprint, and a best trick competition. Dogs can compete or just come hang out. All friendly dogs are welcome.

    Adoptable dogs will be on-site all day, along with food and beverage options. We will also have local vendors, and our Kids Zone with a bouncy house, face painting, and more.

    Every registration fuels rescue missions, lifesaving medical care, and spay/neuter clinics around the world and right here at home.

    Run Details

    Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome — bring your PAWticipant!

    Both races are professionally timed and run along the Deschutes River on a mix of pavement and compacted gravel with minimal elevation gain. The 5K is stroller-friendly throughout, while the 10K extends south of the Bill Healy Bridge onto a more natural, narrower stretch of trail.

    Every registered runner receives a custom finisher medal and complimentary beer (21+). Race shirts and PAWticipant bandanas are available as optional add-ons during registration.

    Kids Mini Run participants receive their own Street Dog Hero cape and mask, plus a finisher medal.

    Awards for the Top 3 Men’s & Women’s finishers (Adult & Youth). Winners choose directly from our Prize Table featuring gift cards, gear, local experiences, and more. Fast feet get first choice.

    Welcome to the 34th Annual Oxford Classic! This meet has become one of Central Oregon’s longest-running and most competitive cross country traditions. Each year it brings together teams from across the region for a high-level mid-season competition. For the first time, we are excited to add a Community 5k — open to everyone who wants to be part of the action!

    The Oxford Classic will be held at Drake Park in Bend, Oregon. The course follows a loop through the park along the scenic Deschutes River, featuring a mix of grass and paved pathways. It is flat and fast, with wide stretches designed to accommodate pack racing and plenty of areas for spectators to cheer.

    For more than 25 years, the annual USARA Adventure Race National Championships have seen some of the best teams from across the nation come together to compete in a non-stop, 30-hour adventure race. Many of these teams have to push the boundaries of human endurance and teamwork just to finish. Winning requires extreme willpower, mastery across disciplines, and sometime a little luck.

    When the race ends, teams come together for an evening meal. We announce the national champions, crown the winners of the national points series, and celebrate the amazing adventure racing community.

    The 2026 race is limited to teams of four in three divisions: mixed gender, all-women, all-men. There is not a separate masters division, though the top masters teams from across all divisions will be recognized.

    Race check-in will be Thursday, October 22, 2026. The 30-hour race will start Friday morning, October 23, 2026, and end Saturday afternoon, October 24, 2026.

    Priority registration opens January 1, 2026. Eligible teams will receive a link by email. Open registration begins February 1, 2026. You can find the most up-to-date information on the event at the USARA website.

    REFUND POLICY:

    The RunSignUp processing fee will be deducted from any and all refunds. A racer who withdraws within one week of registering will receive a full refund, less processing fees. A racer who withdraws more than one week after registering will receive a refund pursuant to the following scale:

    Before 6/1/26: Entry fee less $50 and RSU processing fee

    From 6/1/26 through 7/31/26: Entry fee less $100 and RSU processing fee

    From 8/1/26 through 8/31/25: Entry fee less $200 and RSU processing fee

    From and after 9/1/26: No refund

    A racer can transfer their entry to another racer at no charge. Contact [email protected] to request a refund or transfer of entry.
