Coaching and insights from Brad Huff
Why We’re Doing This.
To create fun, fellowship, freedom, friendship, and fitness, while freeing ourselves from the stigma surrounding men’s mental health. Simply by sticking with our moto: “Just ride your bike, Dude!”
Show up, share the stoke, and trust that every pedal stroke is strengthening your resilience and sense of self.
More About Us
-
Not just a group ride, Project Dudeman is a commitment to presence—and a celebration of the rewards that come from honest effort.
-
We offer a renewed vision of what it means to be a man, rooted in slowing down, staying present, and honoring the moments that matter.
-
We ride with the understanding that perfection isn’t required—only authenticity. No one has to prove anything here. We ride to connect, not to conquer.
-
Average speed isn’t the goal. Consistency, quality, and shared experience are. That’s what builds real connection, confidence, and mental fitness—one ride at a time.
-
Accountability doesn’t come through force, rankings, or KOMs. It comes through presence, shared commitment, and living our code.
-
Project Dudeman is designed to supplement—not replace—your current riding group or club. Come experience how community and friendship can elevate not just your riding, but your life.
-
E-bikes are welcome. Always.
-
To put it simply:
- Just ride your bike, Dude!
Are You Dudeman Material?
Too often, we fixate on the road right in front of us and miss the horizon of what’s possible.
Project Dudeman exists to change that.
We ride to broaden perspective—of potential, belief, and connection.
A bike teaches a simple truth: balance doesn’t come from standing still. Progress requires motion. Rigidity, ego, and force only slow the ride. Real progress is nurtured through resilience—by staying present, riding with intention, and moving forward with purpose.
Project Dudeman isn’t about perfection; it’s about placement. The right wheels, the right mindset, and the right people make all the difference. Like a peloton, we ride together—sitting in when we need to, taking a pull when we can. Our rides don’t burn us out; they clear the stress that clouds progress and reconnect us to ourselves and each other.
If this resonates, you’re already Dudeman material.
So clip in.
Take a pull when you can.
And remember—we’re all on this ride together.
#JustRideYourBikeDude
#StayGoldDude

Please read this!
Welcome to our FREE monthly ride! We meet at the lower parking lot at Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Park, 6800 S Elwood Ave, Tulsa, OK 74132. Restrooms are available.
We will have ride leaders for skill levels between Beginner to Advanced. If you're new to mountain biking, OR have never taken WeROK’s Fundamentals, or other formal fundamentals skills clinics (even if you have been riding some), we REQUIRE YOU to start with the WeROK Fundamental Skills Session during registration. Regardless of your riding experience we feel taking this skills session will help improve your riding and create a better riding experience for all.
Loaner Bikes: Please refer to your registration confirmation letter.
COVID 19: Please do not join our events if you have recently tested positive, been around someone who's tested positive, or you are not feeling well.
Cancellation/Bad Weather Policy: If bad weather develops we aim to cancel the event by 7:00 am the day of the ride. Stay tuned to social media for announcements. We also follow Trailbot, in case Turkey Mountain trails are “closed” or “delayed”. We do not have “rain dates”.
Choosing appropriate group: First choose your riding and fitness level, then choose the best description among the groups. Once a group fills, the waitlist option will open. If you have a friend with the same skill level with whom you want to ride, help us out by registering together ASAP, in the same ride level, AND in same group number. Other than cancellations, we CANNOT GUARANTEE we can make any changes to groups, especially at the last minute, since we have group size restrictions. This delivers the best possible ride experience for all! If you don't end up riding with your friends, don't worry, you'll have the opportunity to make new ones!
Not sure which group to join? Ride levels are based on YOUR CURRENT skill and endurance levels. We want everyone to have the best and safest experience possible so we use a “rating” system to help align you with the right ride group. Please review the skills, endurance, mileage and proposed trails. Being in the right group makes a better, safer ride for all. If you are still unsure about which group might be for you just contact us at [email protected]. P.S. It is perfectly fine to “repeat” a level! Mastery of ALL levels takes time and practice. Please don’t rush yourself, nor succumb to peer pressure. NOTE: WeROK’s skill level names and colors are relative to Turkey Mountain trails. Other trail systems’ color designations could mean their Blue is (y)our Black, so be wise!
Advancing to next groups: A great way to know if you are ready to progress to the next ride level is if (1) you felt comfortable with skills necessary at your current level, and (2) you were able to keep up with the ride leader the entire ride and felt like you could have ridden longer.
GROUP CHOICES:

Select this group if you have never ridden a mountain bike, it’s been longer than you’d like to admit, OR you've never taken any type of basic mtb skills lessons before. Welcome! This session will cover the fundamentals of mountain biking, and then you'll hit the trail for a 2-3 mile ride. Successful completion of WeROK’s Fundamentals (or its equivalent) is required for advancement to next groups. Departure from this policy requires approval by a WeROK ride leader.

Cancellation/Bad Weather Policy: If bad weather develops we aim to cancel the event by 9:00 am the day of the ride.
- FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS SESSION
Select this group if you have never ridden a mountain bike, it’s been longer than you’d like to admit, OR you've never taken any type of basic mtb skills lessons before. Welcome! You have to start somewhere and this is the place! Even the most advanced riders should brush up on these essentials, and certainly, if you feel rusty, this session will help you. This session will cover the fundamentals of mountain biking, and then you'll hit the trail for a 2-3 mile ride. Successful completion of WeROK’s Fundamentals (or its equivalent) is required for advancement to next groups. Departure from this policy requires approval by a WeROK ride leader.
