Whether you're in it for the ride, the views, or the camaraderie, this is your chance to join the adventure on equal ground—with a little electric assist. All riders must follow the same course rules, carry lights, and be prepared for the rugged Oklahoma gravel. Let’s roll responsibly and make this a blast for everyone!
Proud citizens of Gravel Land!
We henceforth make the following proclamations:
On the 1st day of August, the most audacious month of the Gregorian Calendar, Team Soundpony shall "throw down."
We are throwing down a gravel bike race. But you can slowpoke it too. Because this is going to be epic at any speed.
Starting line: Soundpony, 409 N. Main. Tulsa, Oklahoma's most average cycling bar.
Finish line: see above.
The starting time will be at 6 pm. The route will be 69 miles.
The route will be on tarmac. Until it's not. Then it's chunky-ass gravel. Until it's not. We will post the route here ASAP.
Osage County. At night. In the part of summer that makes you angry at thermodynamics.
There will be checkpoints. There will be surprises. There will be a dance party waiting at Soundpony when you vanquish your challenges.
There will be awards for first, second and third. But it's not about that. It is if you want it to be. We can't tell you what to think.
This is about making the mundane magical.
This is about saying you were here.
This is about doing epic shit on a bike at night.
Do epic s**t.
That's our pitch.
