St. Patrick’s Day 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a race experience you do not want to miss. The Y-Bridge Irish Dash invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to enjoy festive fun in the heart of Zanesville. This fully paved course will take participants through Downtown Zanesville, across the world-famous Y-Bridge, and over the Muskingum River for a one-of-a-kind race day experience.

All registered participants of the 5k and the 1-Mile Fun Run will receive a custom race shirt, a finisher medal, a free green beverage ticket, and race day photography available for free digital download. For participants 21 years and older, there will be green beer available in exchange for your drink ticket, while non-alcoholic options are available for those under the age of 21 years old.

Whether you are a competitive runner, a casual jogger, or joining us for a fun walk with family and friends, the Y-Bridge Irish Dash is a festive way to kick off St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Muskingum County.

🕘 Packet Pickup & Registration

Early packet pickup and race registration will be available on Friday, March 13th at the Muskingum County Welcome Center from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Race day packet pickup and registration will begin at 8:30 AM.

1-Mile Fun Run / Walk (Not Timed)

🏅 Awards

Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K race.

All proceeds from the Y-Bridge Irish Dash benefit the development and future growth of seasonal events in Muskingum County, Ohio, including community experiences that bring visitors downtown and support local businesses.

☔ Refund Policy

This is a rain or shine event. In the event of a pandemic or other unforeseen circumstances, all registrations will automatically be converted to a non-refundable virtual event. Participants should check the race website for updates and additional details.

Break out your neon, lace up your sneakers and join us for a totally rad morning of 80s fun, fitness and hope with proceeds benefiting Genesis Cancer Care Center patients.

Join us Sunday June 7th for Genesis Foundation/Imaging Department’s first annual “Hope in Motion 5k”, in addition, we will be doing a one-mile memory walk. Runners and walkers of all skill level welcome. All proceeds raised at this event will benefit Genesis Cancer Care Center Patients.

Race Course

The 5k will begin at the Genesis Cancer Care Center, and loop back to the Genesis Cancer Care Center. One mile memory walk will be held on the Genesis Healthcare Systems Walking Trail.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to all participants of the 5K who register by May 15th, 2026.

Race Results

Automatic text and email results will be sent immediately following a participants finish for those that opt-in. Instant results will also be available on site at the Results Kiosks and at the race website.

Race day registration and packet pick up will be located outside the Genesis Cancer Care Center, Starting at 7am

Entry Fees (Non-Refundable)

5k- early registration up to May 15th $30 (Includes Registration discount, T-shirt, and finishers medal).

5k- After May 15th -$35 Includes race fee and goodie bag, while supplies last. (Does not include t-shirt or finisher medal)

1 Mile Memory Walk- $10. Without T-shirt.

1 Mile Memory Walk w/ T-shirt- $30. Must register by May 15, 2026

Kids Race Free (12 and Under) (Not eligible for T-shirt, Medal and Goodie Bag)

*Pick between a cancer survivor or cancer supporter T-shirt.

Additional Race Info

1 Memory mile signs can be purchased in honor of loved ones for $20 each.
