Start Strong Stay Strong is the Centered Foundation’s second annual 5k to Inspire Health and Enhance Lives. This family-friendly run/walk and kids 1-Mile will help support our mission to provide youth and families the opportunity to enhance their health through education, scholarships, and community engagement. Our programs are designed to promote healthy habits, elevate physical and mental fitness, and build a stronger community. We welcomed 120 participants for our first annual 5k and hope to grow this event this year! Join us on this journey to fuel the future and build a healthier future!

This is a family-friendly event. Dogs and Strollers are Welcome.

Registrations received by March 11 include a t-shirt. Registration will remain open after March 11, but you are not guaranteed a shirt with your entry.

1. $25 In-Person Run/Walk (no T-Shirt) or $35 In-Person Run/Walk(includes event T-shirt). Must register by April 15th to receive the t-shirt. No t-shirts will be guaranteed after that time. We apologize, but we have to make the order.
2. $25 Virtual Option is available for those that wish to financially support the Save A Warrior Foundation but are unable to attend on race day! (no t-shirt)

8th Annual Ezra J. Hartke Race for Hope

Kyle Park, Tipp City, OH

Ezra loved trains, cars, superheroes and all things “boy”. In August of 2017 at the age of 3, Ezra was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. After a year of living life and fighting the disease, Ezra unfortunately lost his battle in September of 2018 at the very young age of 4. During his illness, Ezra and his family were humbled by the caregivers and all of the support they received from so many people. As so much support was provided during Ezra’s illness, the family wants to honor Ezra’s legacy by raising money in support of childhood cancer research and care.

Proceeds go to Dayton Children’s Hospital and Pediatric brain tumor research. Thank you for your support!

Event registrations available:

5K walk - $30 (includes race t-shirt), $35 after 11/8

5K run - $35 (includes race t-shirt), $40 after 11/8

10K run - $35 (includes race t-shirt), $40 after 11/8

Virtual 5K - $25 (no t-shirt)

Teams of 10+: $5 discount per person

Ages 6-18: $5 discount

Ages 5 and under free (no t-shirt)

In-person race registrations must be received by October 30th to receive a t-shirt!
