  This year's route will start and finish at the Boy with the Boot statue in historic Washington Park....

  Part of the 2026 RUNDUSKY Race Series! The ninth annual Boy with the Boot 5k will return in 2026!

  This year's route will start and finish at the Boy with the Boot statue in historic Washington Park. The course will utilize the waterfront Sandusky Bay Pathway for over half of the 3.1 miles.

  $28 Registration fee includes a Dri-fit t-shirt and medal.

  Race shirts only guaranteed to those preregistered by Sunday, June 21, 2026.

  Packet Pickup: August 29th 5pm

  Race Day Registration and packet pickup: starts at 7:45am

  Awards: 5k age group awards male/female within 10 year age group (3 deep)

  14 under to 80 and over.

  Overall top three male/female finishers receive awards

  Do you know someone with breast cancer, or someone who had breast cancer? You're probably nodding your head 'yes' because breast cancer is the most common reportable cancer among women in Ohio,...

  Do you know someone with breast cancer, or someone who had breast cancer? You're probably nodding your head 'yes' because breast cancer is the most common reportable cancer among women in Ohio, regardless of race. In our buckeye state, it accounts for 28 percent of all cancers diagnosed in women.

  This fall let's join the fight to "Save the Pumpkins" with a 5K run/walk through our beautiful, lakefront Sandusky, Ohio.

  All proceeds will benefit The Foundations for the following North Coast Healthcare Collaborative Hospital Systems: Firelands Health, Fisher-Titus, and Magruder Hospital.

  The North Coast Healthcare Collaborative will use the funds to invest in patient support, breakthrough equipment, and research to prevent, diagnose and cure breast cancer. Donations from friends and family who do not wish to race, but would like to support the cause, are encouraged.

  When: Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 9:00 am

  Pre-registration cost: $23.00

  Day-of registration cost: $25.00

  Race T-Shirts available if you register by September 21, 2025.
