The Kylie Rose's Run is an Ohio non-profit (Tax ID # 82-5305754)
Kylie Roses Run was inspired by Kylie and her family during her fight against cancer. She and her family put on an annual 5K & Family Fun Run that benefits Akron Children's Hospital's Oncology Department. Kylie also decided to make Kylie's Bags of Love, which are bags stuffed with fun items for the children in the hospital.
Kylie Rose’s Run is celebrating its 12th Annual 5K event. Kylie Rose Jacobs, at the age of five, was diagnosed with cancer on January 6, 2015 and has since been treated at Akron Children’s Hospital. She has BEAT CANCER THREE TIMES! This year’s race proceeds will directly support the patients and their families and will help fund pediatric cancer research.

Knabe Law Firm | Greater Cleveland’s Bike Attorneys
Ken is more than an attorney - he is an avid rider who incorporates his observations when riding into his legal framework to prevent crashes, he knows what it’s like out there and the impact of bike accidents.
The Knabe Law Firm helps our clients through all phases of settlement negotiation and litigation, providing straightforward and accurate advice so people can take care of themselves and their families, while we take care of the critical legal details to ensure our clients recover their losses.
Ken is working to foster a culture of safety and respect for cyclists by seeking to make our city safer and more livable through active transportation. He serves on nonprofit boards and committees including the Ohio to Erie Trail, and the Ohio Bicycle Federation; he gives educational seminars and speeches to local cycling groups promoting best practices; and he supports local advocacy and ridership through sponsorships and donations.
Ken has found that unfamiliarity of the applicable laws contributes to this problem, so in an effort to close the information gap Ken authored Cycling Rights: Bicycles, E-Bikes & Micro-Mobility Devices published in September 2020. Cycling Rights: Second Edition was released in February 2024.
Cycling Rights is aimed at educating both cyclists and motorists and is full of useful law specifically applied to car/bike interactions, real case studies, and safety tips for riders novice to pro.
Profits from the purchase of Cycling Rights through the Bike Cleveland website go directly to support the organization’s mission of creating a region that is sustainable, connected, healthy, and vibrant by promoting bicycling and advocating for safe and equitable transportation for all.

About
Date: Saturday, August 23, 2025
Time: 7:00am - 7:00pm
Location: Stinchcomb-Groth Memorial Hill, Cleveland, OH
Hell on Hogsback: Endurance Challenge in Cleveland, Ohio is a physical and mental test for those looking to give back in a BIG way on one of the steepest hills the area has to offer. The race is located in the Rocky River Reservation at the top of Stinchcomb-Groth Memorial Hill. The objective is simple: how many times can you complete the looped hill course within the allotted time? Will you #endureforcancer?
Course
Hell on Hogsback is a 1.1 mile looped (or what some might say...down & up) course with 140ft elevation gain & loss at an average 12% grade per loop. Starting at the top of Stinchcomb-Groth Memorial Hill, runners will head down to the bottom of the hill, take a sharp right, and continue their way down to the bottom of Hogsback Lane. At the bottom of Hogsback, runners will loop around a cone and reverse their footsteps back up Hogsback & to the top of Stinchcomb. Runners will complete their lap by completing a loop through the parking lot, upper single trail hill, and back to the parking lot where aid stations, tents, and vendors will be stationed.
Our Mission & Impact for 2025
Our internal ethos is #EndureForCancer. Through this ethos, it is our mission to raise $52,000 across 500+ registrants to positively impact 2-3 cancer patients who are unable to fund their surgical or medical procedure(s). After the race, the race committee will select candidates & hand-deliver checks consisting of race proceeds to the patients in need.
