Check-in at the registration table starts at 8:30 AM. The race begins at 9:30 AM followed by the 1 mile fun run or walk. This event will take place in rain or shine. Online registration for each attendee is required. A t-shirt for each attendee will be included (not guaranteed if registration is after April 24th) along with access to any activities, food, and beverages provided at the event. All 5K participants will receive a finisher medal.
Mr. Craig Bailey, the former superintendent of Buckeye Local Schools, was the founder of the Buckeye Education Foundation in 2003. Mr. Bailey was the first person to have the vision of what a positive impact establishing an education foundation could be for our district. Through much hard work, commitment, and perseverance, Mr. Bailey made that vision a reality at Buckeye!
We are honored to have had Mr. Craig J. Bailey serve our district with such high standards, excellence, and integrity. We hope you will join us by running with our Buckeye students and families to raise money to support our Buckeye School district and honor a legacy.
The Buckeye Education Foundation sponsors this event and all proceeds will be used to benefit students of the Buckeye Local School District through grants awarded to support activities that enhance, enrich and supplement instructional opportunities.
