Compete with others on our unique course of asphalt and grass with moderate hills. Winner in each category (17 & under, 18-30, 31-49, 50-64, 65 +) will receive a medal and one dozen chocolate chip cookies.

The Towpath Trail 10K and Half Marathon! Come join the fun and run the beautifully maintained towpath trail along the mighty Maumee River. Both courses start at Providence Metropark near the dam across the river from Grand Rapids, OH. You'll head out on the historic canal towpath and then return to the finish at the Providence dam and shelter. The towpath is crushed gravel and dirt with lots of shade. You'll enjoy scenic views of the river and run past the historic canal locks and grain mill at the park. You can spend some time around by the dam at the Shelter after the race and then visit quaint Grand Rapids.
Half marathoners should be able to finish within three hours. Walkers are encouraged to participate in the 10K. Gift certificates will be given to male and female overall, masters (age 40-49), and grand masters (age 50 and above) winners in both races.
Specific to the Towpath Trail 10K & Half Marathon. Mercy Health – Toledo will provide onsite medical support.
The Towpath Trail 10K and Half Marathon is one of four race events in the Toledo Roadrunners Club Trail Race Series in partnership with Metroparks Toledo. It is a great introductory trail race as it is flat, open, and has good footing. It is perfect for just a run or training for an early fall marathon. Other races include the Marsh Madness 10K at Howard Marsh Metropark on June 20, Oak Openings Stampede 5K and 25K races at Oak Openings Metropark on September 13 and Falling Leaves 5K and 8 Mile races at Secor Metropark on October 25. Once registration opens for these other three events, a discount option will be offered if you sign up for all four events at the same time. If you are planning to do this, please wait to register.
Registration for the Towpath Trail 10K and Half Marathon includes a tee shirt and finisher medal. There is a no shirt option where more of your registration fee will go to charity!
Towpath Trail 10K and Half Marathon is currently capped at 175 participants. This event sold out 10 weeks in advance of the 2025 event. It is expected to sell out again this year.

Swim takes place in Lima Lake Reservoir. The swim is a loop. 15 mile bike is a rolling, fast course on country roads in a large rectangle. Runs are on the river walk. Transition area is a paved parking lot within the park. Restrooms are nearby.
There will be oranges, bananas and water for participants during and after the race. There will be pizza and a bounce house post race.

The Move Better. Live Better. 5K is a community-driven run/walk hosted by Ohio Movement Clinic in Findlay, built around one simple mission: when we move better, we live better. This family-friendly event welcomes all fitness levels and brings together runners, walkers, and local supporters for a day focused on health, connection, and giving back.
Surrounding the race will be a Small Business Sponsor Village featuring local Findlay businesses, creating opportunities to support and discover services within our own community. All event proceeds and donations will benefit Open Arms Domestic Violence &Rape Crisis Services, supporting programs and services to anyone affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Join us as we promote healthier living, strengthen small businesses, and invest in the future of Findlay — one step at a time.
6th annual NW Ohio Brewery Ride to benefit Pelotonia
100% of the funds raised from this event will be donated to Pelotonia and will fund life changing cancer research and treatment at The James Center

The Scouting America Half Marathon and 5K is the perfect tune up race for your fall racing. Ideally situated just a few weeks before the Garmin Marathon Series in Toledo, this is a great way to test your nutrition and pace.
The half marathon enjoys a very flat route through the heart of a college downtown. This course scenery has it all -- Industrial, downtown, wooded bike paths, golf course neighborhood, and City Park.
Water stops are staffed by our area scout troops in uniform who thank you for supporting them.
The post race refreshment zone, sponsored by Southeastern Container, offers chocolate milk, fresh fruit, and more.
Finally, Scout Troops serve up a pancake breakfast for all, included with your registration.

This event isn’t just about speed, it’s about chasing hope, breaking the stigma, and supporting those who need it most.

This is a fun 5K run/walk aimed towards bringing the community together to create hope for the future by reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness, depression and anxiety and raising awareness of resources available to prevent Suicide and the ripple effect left on family, friends and the community. The funds raised at this event are reinvested in the community to continue to the efforts all year long.
The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy chapter of the American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is hosting its 10th Annual Homecoming 5K and 3rd Annual 1.4 mile Fun Walk!
Join us for the Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk on Saturday October 11th, 2025 during the University of Findlay's Homecoming Weekend. A founding pillar within APhA-ASP is heart health, and a portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association. This year's Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk will feature a brand new path that starts and finishes at the Griffith Memorial Arch on Findlay's campus.
Registration/packet pick-up will begin at 7am on Saturday, October 11th in front of Old Main (1000 N Main St. Findlay, OH 45840) and will take place until 8:45 am. During this time (7-8:45am) students from the College of Pharmacy will be hosting tables with fun and educational activities for event participants to visit. After visiting all the student tables, you will be eligible for entry into this years raffle drawing with fun and exciting prizes!
After registration closes, all participants will gather at the start line for pre-race announcements. The race will begin at promptly 9am with professional timing provided by Run Toledo. After the race is done, the drawing of winners for the raffle prizes will begin. You must be present to win.
At the conclusion of your 5K or Fun Walk, students from the University of Findlay Doctor of Physical Therapy Program will be offering FREE post-race physical therapy including injury screens, cupping, massage, and stretching!
Please park at Winebrenner Theological Seminary back parking lots (950 N Main St. Findlay, OH 45840). Parking is free and a quick walk to the registration area.

The Tiffin Zombie Run is a fun 5K run/walk or 1-mile walk open to all ages! Along the course, zombies will try to steal the sashes you’ll be wearing—your goal is to make it to the finish line with all 3 left!

All proceeds benefit CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties. CASA trains community volunteers to advocate in court for abused and neglected children, ensuring their best interests are represented throughout the legal process.
Interested in becoming a CASA volunteer? You just need to be 21 or older, care about helping children, and pass a background check provided by CASA.
