Please join us on Saturday, March 21, 2026, on the paths just west of the Dublin Community Recreation Center for the inaugural Bailey's Clubhouse 5K! Bailey’s Clubhouses offer free childcare for parents undergoing cancer treatment, giving them peace of mind while they attend medical appointments. The task of locating and paying for childcare, on top of a sick parent in the home, results in extreme stress for families facing a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Bailey’s Clubhouse evolved out of our founder’s personal experiences while taking his wife to her cancer treatment appointments. With a strong personal support system, he had a long list of family and friends available to watch their children during his wife’s appointments and treatments. However, he quickly observed that many cancer patients did not have this same level of support and patients often struggled to find childcare during treatments.

Your participation in the Bailey's Clubhouse 5K event will serve to help underwrite the costs of providing childcare to families with a parent facing cancer.

20th Anniversary of the Annual OHIO CROSS COUNTRY Middle School and Elementary STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS at Dublin Jerome High School October 18th!

What's new and what makes us different?

What makes the Middle School & Elementary State Meet different from the rest?

Well it’s our 20th anniversary for starters. During that time, we have had some of the greatest runners in Ohio cross country history come run with us. We continue to follow them and highlight their accomplishments long after they have left middle school.

Starting with packet pick up you will start to see what sets us apart. While most events give you a Manila envelope with your runner’s chips and numbers, we give every coach a zippered team bag with everything inside to get them prepared for their race.

We give each runner a NEOPRENE WRISTBAND printed with a personal message telling runners to Be Legendary! Paper wrist bands are lot’s cheaper but we want to invest in our athletes.

We give away 1200 pairs of Ohiocrosscountry.org sunglasses just because.

Our course is a spectacular one of kind and spectator friendly trail that winds thru the woods and ends on a great straight away in front of a cheering crowd in the football stadium. We play music on the sound system all day long too.

We treat the top 15 finishers in every race like the VIPs they are. They each get one of our iconic custom-made medals painted with our unique Red Enamel.

Each one gets a large Willy Wonka Chocolate Bar. These are handmade specifically for our runners with only the finest ingredients. There are also Golden Tickets hidden inside 5 of them good for a free T-shirt from Fine Designs so make sure to check.

We are the only Cross-Country race in the world that gives a GIANT 5-pound Gummy Bear to our top 3 finishers in every race.

We are again giving away one large Gumball Machine every race to one of the top 15 finishers. The race winner will draw a ping pong ball out of the hat that will be numbered 1 thru 15. For example, if they draw number 9 then the 9th place finisher wins the prize! If the ONE green ball is pulled out ALL Top 15 finishers in that race get a Gumball Machine! The top 15 in the Elementary race all got lucky in 2025 when the green ball popped up.

While some events only reward the coach with a team trophy and nothing to the ones who did all the work we give individual championship medals to EVERY member of the winning team in each race… yes even if you have 30 runners or more. If they ran they get rewarded at our event! We also hand out 40 team trophies.

Each year we literally crown Ohio’s fastest boy and girl. We call them the Rock Stars of Ohio Cross Country and proudly display their names on a large banner at our event every year.

They each receive a large trophy, Jeweled Crowns and fitted Championship rings which they will cherish forever.

In 2026 Ohio’s fastest boy will also get an AMAZING 12 inch Statue of the Flash while Ohio’s fastest girl will get an exact replica of Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers from the 1939 movie The Wizard Of Oz! Just click your heals together 3 times and repeat “There’s no place like the State Meet”

FUN UPDATED SWAG FOR 2027 (DETAILS COMING SOON)

    Packet Pick Up

Early packet pickup is available for anyone in the central OH area – at Fleet Feet Sports, 1270 E. Powell Rd, Lewis Center – Thursday thru Saturday of race week.

Race day packet pickup will beginning at 7am at the race site (the Metro Fitness parking lot, north east corner under the Fleet Feet tents)

Race day reminder - ARRIVE EARLY! There is only one route into the parking lots and traffic backs up after 7:00am. We will NOT delay the start for late arrivals!

Marathon must reads, and cut-off time details

    • Marathon Course Time Limit: Our permit from the city of Dublin limits the marathon race to a finishing time of 1pm. No early start times will be granted.

    • Full Marathoners must attend pre-race meeting at 7:40am!

    • It is up to each participant to keep track of their laps. We recommend all marathoners have a support person to help with this.

    • The course is measured and certified based on running just to the right of the dividing line between the curb and the black top, as well as following tangents.

    • 1 lap along the measured and certified course is exactly 1 mile.

    • We start the race 0.2 miles from the lap point/finish line so that you will run 0.2 miles for "lap 1", you will then run 26 more laps to get 26.2 miles as measured on the course. Technically you run 26.2 laps, but the timing software will register 27 laps since your first lap is only 0.2 miles.

    • If you run even 1 shoulder width farther out to the right (which most do inadvertently, you will run at least 1.023 miles per lap, resulting in 26.572 miles, add the 0.2 from the start, and you will end up with 26.72 miles, if not further on your GPS watch.

    • Do not stop when your watch tells you you have covered 26.2 miles. Stop when you have finished 26.2 laps!

    • Think LAPS, not miles. Most finishers end up running anywhere from 26.5 miles to 27.3 miles. Running the shortest possible route for 26.2 laps is exceptionally difficult on a mile loop course.
