The 2FGR Run for Inclusion was started in 2009 by the running group 2FGR (Two Fat Guys Running), with the very modest goal to raise $5,000 in support of the Down syndrome community. Now going on its 17th year, the 2FGR Run for Inclusion has donated nearly $600,000 in its first 16 years.
This event proudly benefits Team Heart & Sole, 4 Paws for Ability, and DSACO.
Team Heart & Sole’s mission is to provide inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities, their families, and friends to participate in endurance racing events across Ohio, while building authentic relationships through teamwork.
DSACO’s mission is to support families, promote community, and encourage a lifetime of opportunities for people with Down syndrome.
4 Paws for Ability's mission is to enrich the lives of people with disabilities by placing life-changing service dogs. Based in Xenia, Ohio, 4 Paws breeds, trains, and places task-trained service dogs with children and veterans — helping families access greater independence and opportunity.

Race day reminder - ARRIVE EARLY! There is only one route into the parking lots and traffic backs up after 7:00am. We will NOT delay the start for late arrivals!
Marathon must reads, and cut-off time details
Marathon Course Time Limit: Our permit from the city of Dublin limits the marathon race to a finishing time of 1pm. No early start times will be granted.
Full Marathoners must attend pre-race meeting at 7:40am!
It is up to each participant to keep track of their laps. We recommend all marathoners have a support person to help with this.
The course is measured and certified based on running just to the right of the dividing line between the curb and the black top, as well as following tangents.
1 lap along the measured and certified course is exactly 1 mile.
We start the race 0.2 miles from the lap point/finish line so that you will run 0.2 miles for "lap 1", you will then run 26 more laps to get 26.2 miles as measured on the course. Technically you run 26.2 laps, but the timing software will register 27 laps since your first lap is only 0.2 miles.
If you run even 1 shoulder width farther out to the right (which most do inadvertently, you will run at least 1.023 miles per lap, resulting in 26.572 miles, add the 0.2 from the start, and you will end up with 26.72 miles, if not further on your GPS watch.
Do not stop when your watch tells you you have covered 26.2 miles. Stop when you have finished 26.2 laps!
Think LAPS, not miles. Most finishers end up running anywhere from 26.5 miles to 27.3 miles. Running the shortest possible route for 26.2 laps is exceptionally difficult on a mile loop course.
