  • Join us in-person for the 5K or 1-Mile Walk on June 20th. Participation includes a T-shirt and free entry to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for the day. Does your whole family want to participate? Select the 1-Mile Walk and choose multi-person pricing for a discount on registration for the whole family.

  • Participate from home, or your favorite trail, by registering for the virtual 5K or 1-Mile. Complete your distance wherever you’d like between June 16-21 and enter your time online. You will receive your Race for Kids T-shirt in the mail prior to the event week.

  Fundraise

  Fundraise on behalf of the Clubs! Whether you are participating in-person, virtually, or not able to attend at all, you are able to make a big difference for our kids.   Start at the same location as the 4 Mile run, make your way into Progressive Field and run or walk the ramps to the warning track and finish on the field.

  The need for funds to support the homeless dogs of Cleveland continues to grow every year. This year as an added incentive for individual fundraisers, you may choose to receive a portion of your registration fee back if you hit your fundraising goal. Those who raise $250 or more may receive $20 back from the registration fee. To receive this benefit, you must opt in while setting up your fundraiser.

  All participants are encouraged to post on social media using #CityDogsRunCle.

After registration closes at 8:30am and you have not received your wristband, you must go to the box office and purchase a regularly priced ticket.

  Strollers are allowed but no dogs are permitted in the zoo.

  The bib must be visible and worn on the front, outer most article of clothing the entire race. BibTag Timing chips will be adhered to the back of your bib.

  This is a separate event and does not include your entry into the race or race shirt.

  All money goes towards the Cleveland Police and Fire Department’s charities.

  Refunds and Transfers:

  You are able to transfer your entry to another person in your RunSignUp profile. Just log in and look for the race. There will be an option to transfer. There will be NO transfers on race day!
