DRRT Technical Trails Workshop #2- Sterling Edition
This workshop focuses on finding flow on the trails. We'll tackle the McKeags Meadow trail in Sterling Forest and hone in our techniques for cornering in berms, and pumping for momentum.
We'll do a quick review of body position and cornering techniques before we hit the trail to find our flow
We move at your pace. If the group is crushing it, we push further. If we need more time on the basics, we take it. That's the beauty of a clinic built around you.
Come for the skills. Stay for the stoke.
When: Sunday, June 21
Time: 10 am - 2 pm
Where: Tuxedo, NY
Cost: $200/per person
Space is limited to 8 participants – be sure to register early!
A mountain bike in good working condition is required. Helmet required. Flat pedals, elbow and knee pads recommended.
This workshop takes place rain or shine.
About DRRT:
Dirt Rock n Root Training's owner Kathi Krause has been around the bike block – from velodrome and road racing to cyclocross, XC and finally her true love: downhill. She spent a decade on the Pro downhill circuit, stacking up three Masters World DH Championships, five national titles and a win at the legendary Kamikaze Downhill.
After 25 years of racing, Kathi shifted gears to coaching and founded Dirt Rock n Root Training in 2011 . Since then, she's been helping riders find their flow on everything from lift-accessed bike parks to rocky, rooty singletrack. You'll find her leading her Technical Trail series of clinics in North Jersey or running women's clinics at Mountain Creek Bike Park. Her mission? Simple: Get more women and kids on bikes, help them crush fear and build a community that rides hard and supports harder.
When not coaching, you can find Kathi out doing what she loves most - shredding the rocks and roots of NJ or dropping into her home trails at Mountain Creek Bike Park.
