Welcome to the 26th running of the Tug Hill Challenge!
Join the Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club for a fun weekend of sled dog racing throughout the beautiful trails of the Winona State Forest! The race is sanctioned by the International Sled Dog Racing Association (ISDRA). The race starts at 8:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. You must run on day 1 in order to run on day 2.

Registered Nordic Breed paperwork is to be submitted online by Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Please submit them to this link on our club website. If you have previously submitted the required kennel club information for your dog(s) during race seasons between 2016-2026, you do NOT need to resupply the information.

*Junior 3 Dog Sled (3.2 miles)
*Fat Tire Bikejor 1-2 Dog (2.5 miles): Evaluative Status; Will run concurrently with 8 Dog Sled
Non-Sanctioned Classes:
*Peewee Class (approx. 0.2 miles): Our youngest mushers will take off from the top of the hill and run down to the finish line. No cost.

Take the Mannsville Exit #39 off I-81. Follow County Rt. 90 east through the village of Mannsville crossing Rt. 11. Continue east, carefully following signs to stay on Rt. 90 for approximately 6 miles. CCC Camp Buildings and parking are on the left at the intersection of Bargy Rd.
