Run, walk, or just join our virtual community for the fun updates, posts and pictures!
In just over 10 years, ROCovery has engaged more than 11,000 individuals in recovery from alcohol and substance use disorder. We provide a safe place for recovery of both mind and body, helping people rebuild their lives and rediscover their inner strength and confidence through adventure, fun, and sober social connection.
This event celebrates the hope we find in recovery, and remembers loved ones who have been lost to the disease of addiction. Whether you are running for yourself, for someone you love, or for someone you've lost, we hope you will run (or walk!) for ROCovery!
If you are a person in recovery who is in need of financial assistance to sign up for the event please email us at [email protected] and we will discreetly scholarship you for your entry fee.

Do you like loopy fun with runny friends where you get to see reindeer on every loop? Yes? Then Sleigh Me Ultras is for YOU! This event takes place at the Shortsville Reindeer Farm and features a one mile loop on foot friendly grass/trail terrain with very little elevation. There are some roots but nothing to climb over. You choose how many miles you want to "rack" up. There will be a fully stocked aid station located in the barn, pizzas at noon, and you are welcome to set up your own station with whatever else you may need. Yes, there really are reindeer! There's chickens too, and honey bees, and maple trees, and a dog named Clancy! Bring your friends and family!
The 48 Hour option starts Friday evening. All other races, you can choose to start at the top of any hour over the weekend! We mark loops by hand. We will mark your start/finish times on the board! Results get loaded on runsignup in spreadsheet format so you can verify your results!

Something new and exciting is coming to Rochester NY on Sunday, September 20, 2026 as we will offer the inaugural Countdown to ONE! challenge. This unique challenge is for those dedicated runners that like to push themselves a bit more than others. As a Countdown to ONE participant you will run as many single miles as you can based on the time requirements for each. The course is a 1 mile loop. The start/finish for each mile is the same. All participants receive a finisher medal.
Here's how it works...
Each mile must be completed in less than the required time to advance to the next mile. If you fail to complete any of the miles in the allotted time you're out of the competition.
The first mile must be completed in 15 minutes or under, the second mile must be completed in 13 minutes or less, 3rd mile in 11 minutes or less, 4th mile in 10 minutes or less. These 4 miles make up the Bronze category. You must complete all 4 miles under the time cut offs to earn a bronze pin that can be attached to your medal.
The next wave would be the Silver category, 9 1/2, 9, 8 1/2 and 8 minute miles. You must complete all 8 miles under the time cut offs to earn the Silver pin to attach to your medal.
If you're still standing, it's onto the Gold category, 7 1/2, 7, 6 1/2 and 6 minute miles. You must complete all 12 miles under the time cut offs to earn the gold pin to attach to your medal.
If we have to go beyond this to get to our last person standing we will continue to drop each mile time requirement by 30 seconds.
If you finish any of the miles in under the required time to finish you are welcome to stretch, refuel and rest. There will be a one minute separation between each leg of this ultimate challenge.
As much as this is a competition to get to the last male and female standing, it's also a personal challenge for those not in the running to win it all. Set your goal, up your training and achieve your personal best!
All participants will receive a super cool and quite large finisher medal. Depending on the category you completed your last single mile successfully you will receive a pin to add to your finisher medal (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
Top Male and top Female finishers will receive a cash prize of $125 (each)

Pacers Pacers will be permitted in the 50K only, and only for the last two loops. There is no charge for pacers, but we require that you fill out a waiver. See the registration table for the waiver. There are several rules for pacers, most of which are common in ultras:- Pacers can't carry supplies for the runner (they can't carry the runner's Camelbak if they have one, for example; they can't carry their water bottle, or food for them, etc.)- The pacer must arrive at the aid station with the runner or after the runner, and must leave the aid station with the runner or before the runner. So the pacer can't race ahead and be filling the runner's water bottle, rounding up food items, etc., or linger after the runner has left the aid station.- Since we won't be charging for pacers, pacers are not allowed to take supplies for himself/herself at the aid stations.- The
pacer can't run through the finish line with the runner, either at the end of the race or when finishing a lap. Bib transfers If you're not able to attend the meet, you can transfer your bib to another runner via UltraSignup. The deadline for bib transfers is Oct. 24. Distance changes UltraSignup allows participants to change their distance, up until Nov. 5. Changing to a shorter distance will not give a refund. When changing to a longer (higher priced) distance, the original order is removed and they will be given a credit to re-register at the longer distance. It is also possible to change distance on the day of the race, at registration -- let the registrar know. As with online distance changes, changing to a shorter distance will not give a refund; changing to a longer distance will require a payment (cash or check only). No distance changes allowed once the race has started. Aid stations Due to County Park health regulations, in some instances, food may need to be handed to you. There
will be one fully stocked aid station mid-loop providing the following:FOOD: small cups of: M&Ms, gummi bears, pretzels, pringles, dill pickle slices, fig newtonsPlease point to what you would like and a volunteer will take the cup and drop the contents in your hand (health rules may change without notice on this site)LIQUIDS: water, gatorade, flat coke and ginger ale, pickle juicePlease consider bringing a collapsible cup and/or water bottle for liquids. An aid station with water and Gatorade only will be at the beginning of each loop.
