    Start time: 5:30am *All fields line up 5-10 minutes prior to start

    You will be racing 4.1 laps (Wdev), 5.1 LAPS (Mdev)

    Finish line : Met Finish

    Attn new racers: Pick up a paper race number at boat house parking lot at least 15 minutes before start. You will be given a paper race number, once you've taken your first skills session you'll receive a cloth number that will be your number for the season.

    CRCA Club membership is included with all Development Registration.

    If you are new to bike racing or picking the bike up for the first time after a long winter, we offer skills sessions and coaching FREE to our members. Skills and Coaching Calendar can be found here

    We encourage new racers to take a skills session prior to racing, though not required.

    There are several tiers of membership options allowing you to choose what best suits your availability and budget making an inclusive entry into CRCA park racing.

    Same day registration will be available for any field that has not reached its limit. There is a $10 late fee for day of registration.

    If any field is sold out, we will have an onsite waitlist but you must be present and it is first come, first serve if we have any spots we can fill. We will sell the open spots 15min before the race starts.

    CRCA Grant's Tomb Crit (2026)

    REGISTRATION

    Registration starts at $45 and increases to $55 two weeks out. Register early to save money! Race multiple times for just $20 each additional field. Day of registration $60 cash (additional fields still $20). Collegiate/U23 racers can use "CRCAU23" for 50% off registration

    WEATHER POLICY

    CRCA Events are always rain or shine. However, in the event of nearby lightning, the race will be stopped for 15 minutes and either restarted or extended for another 15 minutes until no more lightning strikes. Our event schedule will continue as originally posted, regardless of pauses for lightning. Should a field have their time cut due to lightning, participants will receive race credit for a future CRCA event for the value of their race.

    NYC Cup Technical Guide - Required Reading

    The NYC Cup Technical Guide contains complete series rules, points system, overall awards, field eligibility, and enforcement policies and applies to all NYC Cup events.

    RACE DATE

    Sunday, July 26, 2026.

    REGISTRATION

    Day-of registration for any field that is not sold out begins 1 hour before and ends 10 minutes prior to your field start time. You need to have your USAC license active to register. An additional $10 late fee applies for day-of registration. Please sign up online to expedite the registration process and avoid potential errors. Timing chips from other races may remain on your bicycle.

    You can transfer your registration at BikeReg for free to someone else. If you need to cancel, please notify the organizer in advance.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    Please pull off the course upon the request of race officials or the pace moto.

    Keep the road clear while waiting for your field's start.

    The start and finish will be at the West Side of the course.

    See segment for reference.

    NUMBERS:

    Results are processed manually. Bibs must be pinned on the right side of the jersey. Incorrect placement may result in missing or unscored results.

    AWARDS:

    Report to the podium area 15 minutes after the race is over for awards and media coverage. Racers must be present at the podium ceremony to receive prizes. Racers not present will forfeit their prizes.

    FREE TRAINING JERSEY

    First 100 people registered get a free training jersey with race logo

    RESULTS:

    Will be posted on Road-Results.com and the USA Cycling website, usually within 48 hours."

    COURSE:

    Going up and down will be fun! Smooth course with 2 u-turns with nice curves. Strava Segment is here. Please arrive in advance to become familiar with the new race course and setup. The race course is closed to traffic and marked by signs, cones, and NYPD barriers at every critical spot.

    DIRECTIONS:

    By car: Follow GPS to 490 Riverside Dr, New York, NY 10027. Parking may be tough

    By Train: Take 1 train to 116 Street Station. Or take A, C or D train to 125 street station.

    PARKING:

    The easiest parking is at Randall's Island and ride to Manhattan over 102nd street bridge.

    Some parking should be available North from the race course, on Riverside Drive before W133 street.

    WATER, BATHROOMS & TRASH

    You can pick up a free bottle of water and snacks by registration. Use purple (or gray) color portable restrooms. Stationary restrooms available at the playground North of Grant's Tomb. There is a fountain by the stationary restrooms. Please use the trash receptacle by the registration desk or any other trash cans.

    NOTES:

    1. Race distances may be shortened due to weather conditions and/or time constraints.

    2. Fields may be combined and/or prize money may be reduced if minimum fields are not met.

    3. The race course is closed for cars.

    4. Follow USA Cycling official on lead-out on motorcycle instructions. Don't pass moto!

    5. This race will be held rain or shine.

    This is the 31st edition of this ride.

    Our club puts this ride on to welcome new riders to experience typical NYCC routes - these are some of our favorites.

    And of course, our repeat attendees who know we put on a very well supported ride with a great finish festival are always a welcome sight to see on ride day.
