The Saratoga Stryder's Grand Prix is designed to encourage more participation in club events through friendly competition and volunteer activities.

You don't have to be the fastest to participate or win a prize at the end of the year.

The more you race, the more points you can earn. Plus, you get to be in more Saratoga Stryder Club photos!

Welcome to the Saratoga Stryders Grand Prix for 2026!

• Volunteering is still an important part of being a Stryder. Once again, you only need 1 volunteer activity to qualify for an end of the year award.

• Now you can earn one point for each volunteer activity- up to 10 points Thanks for helping out!

Scoring

• Grand Prix (GP) RACES are scored 10, 8, 6 points for the top 3. 4 points for all others!

• Special Events (SE) are races worth 2 points for all participants

• Marathon and Ultra races are worth 3 points - you earned it!!

• Bonus 2 points for Stryder TEAM events

• First Day 5k, Global Running Day and Too Dark to Run in the Park

• Bonus 2 points for a Club Donation with Virtual Runs in March

• Volunteering - Earn one point for each activity up to 10 points. One Activity Required

🏃🥞 Stryders Pancake Breakfast – March 7, 2025! 🥞🏃

Join us for one of the tastiest traditions of the year – the Stryders Pancake Breakfast!

📅 Date: Saturday, March 7, 2025

📍 Location: The Victoria Room, Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs

⏰ Time: Right after the Saturday Run/Walk (around 9:30 AM)

After working up an appetite on the roads and trails, come refuel with pancakes and good company! As always, we need volunteers to help make this event a success. Please consider signing up to:

Join us for the 18th Annual Furry Fun Run, a Run/Walk for people AND dogs!

This great fundraiser to benefit Peppertree Rescue will take place at the Warming Hut off the scenic Avenue of the Pines in Saratoga State Park on Saturday April 18th!

The Furry Fun Run was the first 5k in the area to welcome dogs, and it is a do-not-miss event! If you are not up for running, we welcome walkers too! Day-of-registration is $35 so do not forget to register early.

Prizes will be awarded to the first woman, man, non-binary person and dog to cross the finish line. This event will be bar code timed by White Knight Timing and Race Management.

Packet pick up and race day registration will run from 8:00 am to 8:45 am on race day at the Warming Hut; the race will start promptly at 9:15 am.

Proceeds of this event go to benefit the dogs of Peppertree Rescue. Peppertree Rescue is a volunteer run organization dedicated to helping dogs of good temperament – we do not discriminate based on breed, age or health. Please check us out: https://peppertree.org/

The park staff have asked is to make sure that our four legged friends waste be picked up behind them. We will provide environmentally safe bags at the beginning of the race.
