Join us for our first run of the "We Run This Town" fun run/ walk series, and kick off your Carson Valley Days festivities with a fun run/walk through Gardnerville and up the parade route before the parade starts! We highly encourage you to dress to the theme of this year's CV Days Parade.

Pre-Registration Fees:

Runners: 10 & Under: FREE

Runners: 11 & Up: $25.00 $35 DAY OF REGISTRATION

Registration Begins at 7:00am

Location: The run will start and finish at Heritage Park in Gardnerville on the Ezell Street side of the park. (1447 Courthouse Alley)

Race Begins at 8:00am... RAIN or SHINE!

We recommend all walkers stay in the middle of the pack and those with strollers or leashed dogs at the back to allow runners the space they need for a good run without obstacles. Thank you.

Dogs are welcome to join the fun; please make sure they are not aggressive, are current on their vaccinations, and are child/dog friendly. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES AND WILL BE POSITIONED AT THE BACK OF THE STARTING PACK. PRIZE BREAKDOWN: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers will receive a trophy. All participants will receive running medals.

Main Street Gardnerville has partnered with Wreaths Across America to honor all 225 Military Veterans laid to rest at Garden Cemetery. This year $5.00 from every registration will go towards purchasing a wreath for these Veterans.

Pre-Registration Fees:

Runners: 10 & Under: FREE

Runners: 11 & Up: $25.00 $35 DAY OF REGISTRATION

Runners: Military / Veterans: $20.00 $25 DAY OF REGISTRATION

Virtual Race: $20.00

Founded in the 1960’s, George Whittell is a small high school surrounded by pine forests overlooking Lake Tahoe in Zephyr Cove, Nevada.

George Whittell High School's Student Council is hosting this trail run. Come support students as they organize, plan, and host the race!

The race course will cross creeks and logs alongside many trees, rocks, and squirrels.

In addition to the 5K race, we have an 800 meter fun run for the little ones. Popsicles for all finishers in the fun run!

Runners, walkers, everyone are welcome to participate and enjoy some hot chocolate, medals, and good times!! To keep costs down and participation high, t-shirts are sold separately through the website. The shirts were designed by the students.

So sorry, but pets are NOT allowed on school property. The trail is also NOT stroller friendly unless you have a team to carry it through parts of the woods ;)

Join us for our third run of the "We Run This Town" fun run/ walk series in October, as we Paint the Town Pink during our 5k fun run/walk through Gardnerville. Explore the view along the beautiful Martin Slough trail as we fundraise for our local cancer treatment centers and raise awareness while we are at it. Make sure to dress in PINK to show your support.

$5.00 from every registration will be donated to: Carson Valley Health & Carson Tahoe Health cancer treatment centers

Join us for the 9th Carson Valley Turkey Trot. This fun run takes place in the beautiful Carson Valley, starting at Minden Park in downtown Minden. Trot through this picturesque downtown neighborhood as a fun way to start the Thanksgiving holiday. In addition to the in-person fun run on Thanksgiving morning, children 12 and under can participate in the Turkey Dash or skip the in-person events altogether- and opt for the virtual race to run on your own schedule. If race is full, same day registration will be available. T-shirt and swag bag as available.
