This event is in memory of Michaelann Perea, Museum Board member and community volunteer who inspired many and truly cared for the mission and work of the Museum. Every step you take helps fund educational programs, hands-on exhibits, and exciting experiences for kids in our community. It’s a chance to get outdoors, have fun, and give back to a great cause.

The 47th annual Santa Fe Run Around will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The race starts and finishes at Villa Linda Park

The race is Saturday, May 2 at 8:00 am and the Kids Fun Run will start about 9:00 am.
On-line registration will end April 29 at 6 pm.
Race day packet pick up and registration will be from 7:00 am to 7:45 am on Saturday, May 2.
Race Fees:
5K - $40 before April 4, $45 after April 5 to April 29, $50 April 30 and on Race Day
ONLINE REGISTRATION closes on April 29 at 6 pm.
NO REFUNDS
Kids Fun Run (14 and under) is free.
Shirts and Awards:
T-Shirt guaranteed if registered for the 5K by April 11th, 2026.

Welcome to the 5th annual Santa Fe International Half Marathon!
From September 18 to 20, 2026, experience a weekend of culture, connection, and community.
Capitol Ford presents the fifth annual Santa Fe International Half Marathon. This event welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, whether you're looking for a personal best, trying out a new challenge, or bringing your family for a fun day.
It's also an opportunity for community members, health enthusiasts, and visitors to get together, learn about Santa Fe's vibrant culture, and make a difference.

Race Options:

Half Marathon: A scenic 13.1-mile race starting at La Tienda Plaza Eldorado point-to-point through Old Las Vegas Highway and finishing at the Railyard, offering stunning views of Santa Fe’s historic landmarks. The race cutoff is 3:30 hours.

3-Amigos Relay: Team up with three friends or first responders to complete the half marathon as a team.

4K Run: A shorter, 2.48-mile course from the Railyard Community Garden to the park.

Kids Run: ages 3 to 14; A free, fun 1K activity for children of all ages—just walk in during the expo or on race day to register.
Kids Indigo T-Shirt Workshop with Gasali Adeyemo:
- Children ages 3 to 14 are invited to a free, hands-on indigo art workshop with renowned African artist Gasali Adeyemo—a unique cultural activity blending creativity, tradition, and fun! Kids will learn about African indigo dyeing techniques and design their own custom race-themed T-shirt to take home. Supplies provided—no experience needed!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is the best way to join us for our first annual walk/run! Show your support and help us in raising awareness. Staying healthy and active is not only good for us physically, but mentally as well. Join us in our challenge and show your support.
All proceeds will go to PINK "ME" Non-Profit Organization. If you would like, you will be able to make an additional donation before you complete your registration.
