The Princeton 5K is ready for you in 2025! In its 17th year, the Princeton 5K represents all that is good about community in-person events. Athletes - young and old, big and small, fast and not as fast - come together year after year to run or walk while generously supporting the Princeton High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams.

The 5K race is an IN-PERSON only event this year on Saturday, March 21.

In 2026, we are continuing to offer the KIDS DASH. A challenging 300m loop for all children under the age of 10 years! All participants will receive a youth t-shirt to wear with pride.

We hope to see the whole family on race day!

The course is on maintained natural-surface trails in the Institute Woods. The event is open to all skill levels, including those who wish to walk the course. Non-competitive 3K option for paces over 15 minutes per mile.

Join us for a Walk and 100 Yard Kid's Dash (for children ages 5 and up): Sunday, May 3, 2026. Proceeds benefit YWCA Princeton's Breast Cancer Resource Center in our mission to help women and their families live with, through and beyond breast cancer. The BCRC provides free programs and services such as wigs, fitness classes, nutrition and healthy eating classes, healing arts classes, support groups, financial resources, webinars on various topics related to breast cancer, one on one support, as well as community outreach and education workshops for various organizations all over New Jersey.

Participants will complete the Warrior Walk at their own pace at the Princeton University Track on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
- Registration begins at 10:00am
- Event activities begin at 10:30am
The Warrior Walk will be starting and ending on the track at Weaver Stadium, located on the beautiful Princeton University Campus.

This year's fun family-friendly walk will be a on a wheelchair accessible paved track (walkway).

The Kid's 100-Yard Dash will consist of three age categories: 5 & under, 6-8, and 9-10 year olds. Prizes will be given top winners of each category.

Can't attend in-person? Register and participate virtually! You can still support the BCRC in your own neighborhood, school, or park!

Cost: Registration fees are $20 and $25 day of event, and we are asking for a minimum $100 fundraising goal per registration. If you raise $100 or more you will receive a BCRC Warrior Walk t-shirt (one per person, while supplies last). Children under 10 are free (t-shirt NOT included).

Our overall fundraising goal for the BCRC Warrior Walk is $15,000--your support is critical in helping us reach our goal! This website allows you to create your own page and share on social media. It's as easy as asking 10 friends for $10! Let's break it down this way:
- A $10 donation helps one woman attend one of our support groups
- A $25 donation will help two women take part in our Healing Arts classes
- A donation of $100 enables one woman to receive a wig as she goes through chemotherapy treatments

Runners, history buffs, and families will come together on September 6, 2026, for the Princeton Battlefield 5K. Part of the RevolutionNJ Race Series, the event begins at 9:30 a.m. and offers a unique way to engage with New Jersey’s Revolutionary War history.

The RevolutionNJ Race Series draws inspiration from Jonas Cattell’s legendary run to warn American troops of a British attack at Red Bank Battlefield. This race is one of six in the series, with additional events planned at Cedar Bridge Tavern, Red Bank Battlefield, Fort Lee Historic Park, Monmouth Battlefield and Batsto Village.

Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, participants will experience a race that blends fitness, history, and community celebration. The event offers an interactive way to honor the region's past.
