Freehold Area Running Club presents the 35th Annual St. Paddy's 5 Mile Race on Saturday March 21, 2026. A 5-mile course, contained within Tighe Park. A beautiful run through the parks green space, you will cross the Manasquan River on a country bridge. Refreshments will include beer and hot dogs. T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registrants and new this year are Finishers Medals. The St. Paddy's 5 Mile Race supports Freehold Twp. Parks and Recreation Special Olympics and Freehold Twp. Recreation Challenger Sports for Special Needs.

NJSPBA Peer Response Team presents the first New Jersey Wide Officer Wellness 5k hosted by the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office.

Come and show your support for officer-wellness by joining the race or cheering on our participants.

All funds raised will go to NJSPBA's Peer Response team to be used for officer-wellness promotion, suicide prevention, and providing mental health services.

The event will feature:

• 5k run/walk

• Wellness Fair

• Family Entertainment including Kiddie Dash

• Refreshments

• 0800: Late signup and kit pickup

• 0930: Step off

• 1030: Kiddie Dash

The Marine Corps Run for Freedom will provide assistance to veterans. Proceeds from the run will go to the Marine Raiders Foundation, the Semper Fi Fund, and the Philip A. Reynolds Marine Corps League Detachment. The race route is a loop through Freehold Township, New Jersey that starts and ends at iPlay America. The terrain is relatively flat and on wide streets. The race is chip timed. Participants can choose to Run, Walk or Ruck. There is also a Veterans Only Division available to Active Duty Military Personnel and Veterans. Prizes available to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners in each age group. Come enjoy a Marine Corps themed race and experience the camaraderie of the Marine Corps with active duty and veteran Marines. Stay for a beer following the race at the bar on site.
