AT THE "STRONG SUGGESTION" of the City of Philadelphia Office of Risk Management we are postponing the 2026 Souper Bowl 5K
due to the expected conditions at race time and the heavy exposure at the Northeast Philadelphia Airport. In keeping with the information below we have requested the July 25, 2026, race date, keeping with the opening of TRAINING CAMP. As soon as that is approved we will reopen registration. We will be starting at 8:30AM and the give away will change from a soup mug to a pint glass.
Super Football Weekend
There’s a new race, coming to Northeast Philly on the Saturday before the BIG GAME!
A 5K on a shorter version of the NorFEAST 4 Miler course, along the Northeast Philadelphia Airport bike path.
The turn around will be near Avalon Street along Academy Road.
Like the big game we’ll have a late start.
Packet Pick-Up and Late Registration beings at 10:00AM inside Northeast SkateZone.
The race doesn’t start until 11:00AM so you can sleep in on Saturday (hopefully it will warm up a bit after sunrise) and still make the start of the race!
There may even be halftime entertainment!
Bathroom facilities are also INDOORS!
THIS CHANGE: SOUP MUGS & spoons TO THOSE REGISTERED BY January 17, 2026 We ordered some extra so there's still a chance you'll get one
SOUP at the finish! Please do not take food back inside SkateZone.
MEDALS
In keeping with the tradition of races at this location we'll be giving out a themed medal, but it will not be the same boring traditional race finisher medal.
We're hoping cheerleaders will send you off and welcome you back to the finish. If you know a group that would like to come out, we would love to hear from you.
Gridiron themed awards for the top three men and women overall and in these age groups:
19 & Under, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+ Women, 60-69 Men, 70+ Men
Age groups may be altered depending on registration demographics
Additionally we will awards $100 runBUCKS CrackedBell gift cards to the first man and woman wearing the winning team’s colors on race day. We won’t know that until about 11PM on Sunday February 8, 2026. (Colors means official gear not just a shirt that may match the colors of each team in the big game.)
POST RACE OPEN SKATE
Northeast SkateZone is extending an offer to attend Public Skating after the race for the reduced group price of $13 per person. Sign up during the registration process, in the “STORE” section.
WEATHER
Race Director reserves the right to alter or shorten the course due to weather and/or conditions of the road. Should roads be undrivable or the path be unrunnable on race day we will reschedule of a date near the beginning of training camp (warm weather)
Especially for this race we suggest you sign up (during registration questions) to receive text messaging concerning the race

The 39th Annual The Ben to The Shore Bike Tour on Sunday, July 26th, 2026 is a charity bike ride that raises money to provide necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders and cultivate positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve.
There are 3 route options available: the full 65-mile route from Philadelphia to Atlantic City; the 30-mile route from Hammonton, NJ to Atlantic City; and the 10-mile route from Galloway, NJ to Atlantic City. Welcome to the ultra party of the summer. The Loopy Looper is held at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, NJ on a fast and flat loop that has great views of the Philadelphia skyline and the water. The loop is 3.75 miles long, fully paved with about 100m worth of rubber track.
With easy access to your personal pit area, a fully stocked aid station, and passing a Wawa on course this is both perfect for beginners and for someone looking to throw down some big numbers. This is one of the fastest timed and looped courses in the country! Come out and find your finish out on the loop
The Autumn Lake Triathlon begins with a 0.4 mile swim in a clean, spring-fed lake in the heart of Williamstown, NJ. The 13 mile bike ride is flat and fast and includes roads with large bike lanes. The 5K run will take place on the property of Autumn Lake Winery and will take you through trails (hard packed dirt, some grass, sand, and loose dirt) around two lakes and through the vineyard.
Welcome to the 8th Annual Jack Duffy 5K Power Run and 1M Walk! This event is held to honor and celebrate the life of Jack Duffy, a brilliant and kind young man and accomplished runner. Proceeds support youth mental health and suicide prevention.
The event will take place on SATURDAY, AUGUST 8, including a virtual option. The in-person run and walk will be held in Horsham, PA, starting and ending at the Hatboro-Horsham High School Stadium and continuing along the beautiful, paved Horsham Power Line Trail. Advanced online registration is open through August 7 and is discounted versus race day sign-up. A free t-shirt is available if registered by July 8. Pickup for bibs and shirts will be at check-in on race day beginning at 7:15 am, with the race starting promptly at 8:00.
