    COURSE: 5K & 1 Mile Walk are in Oak Ridge Park on paved paths. Water station. Clock at each mile and at the finish. Part of the 2026 USATF Grand Prix series.

    AWARDS: Medals and a plaque for the top Male and Female finishers. Medals for top age group winners, male and female.

    SCHEDULE:

    8:00AM-8:45AM — Registration/light breakfast

    9:00AM — 5k Start

    9:15AM — 1 Mile Walk Start

    Join us for the NJT Namma 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk!

    On Saturday, May 17th, 2026, we're bringing people together at the beautiful Oak Ridge Park in Union County for a day of fitness, fun, and family—while supporting important causes both locally and globally. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just getting started, there's a place for you at the NJT Namma 5K!

    Running for a Cause: A portion of all race proceeds will support youth mental health initiatives through our partnership with NAMI New Jersey (National Alliance on Mental Illness). We are also sponsoring a portion for child education in India through our Sponsor a Child program. With nearly 1 in 5 children in New Jersey facing mental, emotional, or behavioral challenges, and millions of children globally lacking access to education, your participation makes a real difference in young lives both here and abroad.

    14th Annual Miracles for Myeloma 5K Hybrid 5K Run/Walk

    Making a Difference by Working Toward Prevention and a Cure Together,

    We are Making Miracles!!

    Our 13th Annual Miracles for Myeloma 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 as a HYBRID race.

    Proceeds from this event will help fund IMF’s ground breaking research initiatives which are critical in driving us closer to our mission of finding a cure.

    With rapid scientific advancements, imagine the breakthroughs that could emerge tomorrow with your support!

    Be an agent of change and join us in helping find a cure for myeloma!

    The course, staged entirely within the park on paved paths, is USATF certified and people of all ages are encouraged to participate in this community-wide fundraiser.

    Miracles for Myeloma Hybrid 5K Run/Walk is continuing to Redefine Being Together as we come together once again toward our common goal of Finding a Cure for Multiple Myeloma.

    Be a Part of the Cure and Register Today!

    You have the option to join a team Virtually or In-Person. Your team may be a hybrid of both Virtual AND In Person participants. We will even have separate competitions for Virtual participants and In Person participants so everyone will get that competitive feeling no matter where you are competing from, near or far. We encourage you to have fun and share your team pictures on our Facebook page.

    If you prefer to register as an individual Virtually or In-Person, we welcome you. You may be running/walking as an individual but you are a part of our Miracles for Myeloma Community. By registering or donating, you helping us get one step closer to finding a cure for Multiple Myeloma.
