The Ride: Gravel, Grit & Glory

Our signature JGG routes deliver a perfectly mixed all-surface adventure — from smooth tarmac to gritty gravel, rugged dirt, and maybe even a bit of singletrack on the Mega & Mega XL courses. Expect 45%–75% unpaved terrain, all clearly marked with arrow signs at every turn.

Prefer tech over trail signs? You’ll also get free access to our RideWithGPS event account, with downloadable FIT and GPX files, plus visual and audio cues to guide you every pedal stroke.

Ride Your Way – Enduro Style

This isn’t just a race — it’s an experience. Compete for the fastest combined time on timed segments rather than your total ride time. You’ll see clear signage marking the Approach, Start, and End of each Strava segment, so you know exactly when to hammer and when to chill.

Aid Stations every 20–30 miles will be fully stocked with:

Routes

Each year, we change up the routes to keep the adventure fresh. Riders will receive final GPS files before the event.

Flexible Transfers, Category Changes & Deferrals

We get it — sometimes plans change. That’s why we offer flexible options so your adventure isn’t lost.

• Deferral or Transfer requests must be made at least 14 days before the event

• $20 processing fee applies for either option

• Transfer your registration value to another rider

• Defer your entry credit toward any 2025 Eastern Gravel Series Event (Empire Gravel or Macedonia Gravel)

• Credit from May 3 event toward September 27 event

We want you out there on the gravel — in 2026 or beyond!

STRAVA Race Segments

We're using Strava segments built into our RideWithGPS event account for timing.

Mega has 6, Adventure 4 & Soul 2 segments.

To ensure you're in the segment leaderboard make sure to do the following:

1. Get a RideWithGPS account (free one is fine though there are plenty of cool features in the paid version)

2. Fill out complete profile including name, date of birth and email when you register.

3. Make sure your rde settings are set as "PUBLIC" (privacy protocals will exclude you)

4. Use RideWithGPS to record your ride or make sure to Autosync from your bike computer App so it uploads when you finish JGG.

Aid Stations

Every 20-30 miles, and will be well stocked with GU Gels, Skrach Hydration, Water, Coke, Granola Bars, Swedish Fish, Pickle Juice and more. Aid Station 1 will have fresh hot Pancakes & Maple Syrup.

Results based on combined time of all race segments in your race category.
