This is a fun Color Run run to honor the life and legacy of a local young adult, Morgan Patten. Proceeds will benefit the Morgan’s Miles To Go Foundation (501(c)(3).
Morgan Patten was tragically and mysteriously killed while visiting her fiance in North Carolina in 2019. A vibrant and beautiful young woman from Bradford, NH/Kearsarge Area accepted to law school and to be married to her true love. An avid environmentalist and runner. Keep her legacy of love and adventure alive!

Welcome to the 18th Annual Black Fly Blitz 5K Run/Walk!
Join us for a scenic 3.1-mile loop around beautiful Wilmot Flat as we celebrate Memorial Day with community, movement, and a little friendly competition.
Race Day: Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day)
Start Time: 9:00 a.m.

Registration Details
Online registration is open through 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23.
Through April 30, runners can purchase a commemorative Blitz T-shirt for just $15.
Registration is free for children 11 and under and $25 for participants ages 12 and up through May 23.
Race-day registration increases by $5 for participants ages 12 and up.
Check-in & race-day registration begin at 7:30 a.m. under the tent on the Town Green at the intersection of Kearsarge Valley Road and Village Road.
The Course
The 5K course is a clockwise loop starting on Village Road and continuing along Shindagan, Cross Hill, and Campground Roads, finishing near the Town Green. The route is relatively flat with gentle rolling terrain, making it enjoyable for runners and walkers alike.
After crossing the finish line, participants can refuel with free beverages and snacks.
Awards
Awards ceremony: 10:15 a.m. at the Wilmot Bandstand on the Town Green (next to the Wilmot Town Office).
Special prizes for first overall male and female finishers.
Medals awarded to the top three finishers in each age group.
For everyone’s safety, please leave dogs at home.
Supporting the Community
Proceeds from the Black Fly Blitz benefit the Wilmot Community Association (WCA) and its free programs. The WCA owns and operates the Red Barn Community Center on Village Road and Timmy Patten Park, a beach and the playground on Shindagan Road.

The Say Cheese for Olivia 5k will be held on Saturday, May 30th, at 10:00 AM at Bow High School. (55 Falcon Way, Bow, NH 03304) If you're familiar with the Famous Bow Turkey Trot, this race will run the same course, from Bow High School to Hanson Park fields and back.
Held in honor of Olivia, this event will benefit Blood Cancer United and is part of a Visionary of the Year fundraising campaign supporting the fight against blood cancer. There is also a virtual option for those who can't join us in person.
We will be placing in the following age categories, 1st - 3rd - boys and girls. Ages 0-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-18, 1st - 3rd Men's and Women's. 19-24, 25-30, 31-35,36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66+ and also an overall winner in Men’s and women’s.
